I visited on Friday to have Thing Two's photos taken for a cover shoot for Austin Family Magazine…read more https://austinfamily.com/ (Thing Two will be on the cover in September). The photographer, Jordan, has a remarkable talent for capturing dynamic shots. Her work truly brings out the personality in her subjects. She takes photos for various occasions including senior photos, family photos, creative photos that capture an artistic moment and so much more. When clients enter the studio, they are greeted with a plethora of her creative works. The works are in matte and glossy finishes to match 'the vibe' of the photo taken. During the photoshoot, Jordan's professionalism was obvious as she was able to capture key shots of Thing Two in just a few shots. Furthermore, the direction that Jordan gives her clients as it relates to lighting, posing are clear and concise making the session with her not only efficient but easy! As an independent business owner, Jordan works around a client's schedule so they don't feel obligated to squeeze in a session that may not work for them. Last, Jordan only focuses on one client at a time (no double booking). If looking for a local photographer (which I seem to have found quite a few) in Central Texas, definitely give Jordan a call. *Technical note, no photos can be taken during a session of the session. #supportlocal

She did a great job on the pics and we had plenty of options to choose from. Looking back at the experience, and the family photo on our wall today, it was definitely the best professional photography experience we have had (including our wedding!). Several years on I still have this impression. I expect we'll be in contact again when our grandchild arrives!

Brian and Amanda really care about their craft and will not take pictures in certain weather, if the baby isn't having a good day etc as they are true professionals who care about their craft and not just about making a dollar. It's hard to find real photographers who care as much as they do who have mastered their craft. We have some amazing photos that we will be able to cherish forever and am grateful to have found them. I love the way she is able to capture emotion and liveliness in the photos. Also, she does a great job at finding the perfect spot to get natural sunlight to accent everyone's features. Dogs and newborns are not necessarily the easiest subjects to work with, but she has been able to get great shots of them both. A few days after the photo shoot, she came to our house with her ipad and showed us the digitals of our pictures as well as different print options for our photos (prints, different paper options, canvas, etc.). She had a software program where she could take a picture of our wall and then help design a photo arrangement that would look good in our house. This service was invaluable as we all know how hard it is to actually get around to deciding which pictures to print, what arrangements would look good, sizes, frames, etc. Sarah helped us choose all this and then delivered our canvases in a week. We love everything about her photography and recommend her to anyone looking for a family photographer!

I had a client who was not so happy with her wedding photographer but was in LOVE with his engagement session shooter. Guess who that was? They loved loved Jenna! I honestly have not had the honor of working with Jenna on the professional level but think its much more important to describe what it's like on a client level. We (my husband and I) are not photogenic people. We hate posing for photos unless we have had something to drink (and by something I mean a lot!). But I knew our time for couple photos on our wedding was limited (though our photographer then did a great job!) and we scheduled this session with Jenna. I loved working with Jenna because she would shout directions at us. She wouldn't force us into anything but a little guidance is always appreciated - especially for those of us who DON 'T model you know? She literally made a 2ft width space of grass look like a field...who does that???!!!??? Thank you Jenna!!!!!

She is unique from other wedding photographers that I saw in that her photos portray colors vividly and boldly. She has an incredibly inclusive and diverse business and is accepting of all different wedding and couple types! Jenna as a person really tries to get to know you and she even took us out to dinner just to chat a few weeks before our big day! We absolutely loved our photos from our engagement shoot and our wedding - most of the important moments were captured in beautifully vivid color. We had an Indian fusion wedding and chose her because we saw another Indian fusion wedding she had done in which we fell in love with her photography style. That said, there is a certain dramatic style and culturally specific type of photos that Indian weddings usually have and I felt that I missed out on some of those types of photos (even though we are not a fan of overly dramatic to begin with and she already adds a good amount of drama to her photos!). There could have been a little more cultural exploration there and of course that will come with her practicing on Indian weddings. Regardless, I am so glad I took a chance on her because we were really happy with the results for a totally reasonable price for wedding photographers. Would certainly recommend her in general! And for Indian weddings, just make sure you work with her to tell and show her exactly what you're looking for, but she can definitely give you the drama you're looking for!

Just to be clear - she did not give me her business info or anything - I took the initiative to find out she had her own business and write a review for it separately from the company she contracted for. It was ugly out when we took the first look photos - humid, grey, pouring down rain - the lighting was just awful, but the pics turned out surprisingly well! She definitely knew what she was doing. The sun came out during the ceremony and reception, and she took advantage of that and took some great pics. The day was honestly awful leading up to the ceremony (last second vendor cancellations, tornado warning, etc...) but she kept on a positive face and helped keep the mood light. It was appreciated!
