This is my first Western style wedding that was served family style, and I liked it! I thought the chicken was too dry, and could really have used much more gravy, but the beef was good, and I loved the horseradish sauce that went with it. The service was excellent, and the bar tenders delightful. They also knew what the names of the drinks you may ask for were.... I've been to some places west of Philly where they didn't know what a Cuba Libre was made with. I appreciate knowledgeable bartenders. Also, the bathroom is nice, and they equipped the women's rooms with pads, tampons, and q-tips. That was a nice touch.

I first visited on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 for a private volunteer activity with the Beauty Boost group. I was given a tour by the owner Maureen who shared with me her vision of expanding the space in the near future. She is excited to have some future offerings here at the CoLab. I visited again a month later on Thursday, September 16th for another private event, a Women Wonderland panel discussion. SPACE -- The interior has one large room with tables and chairs and about 2 private smaller rooms for taking phone calls. Wifi (internet) is included. There are different membership packages too because you need to pay to use this space. If you work from home or need a day out of your office, then I recommend the Co-Lab. Complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks are available for you in the kitchen as you work. Maureen and Rachel worked very hard to make sure that everything was organized and tailored to meet our needs, from the first meeting through the reception. Our wedding was truly customized to be exactly what we dreamed of. The CoLab and Lounge spaces are both visually stunning, making for many Instagram-worthy photos. (And we didn't have to spend a ton on additional decorations!) I loved the soft look and feel of the CoLab for our ceremony and dessert table, contrasted with the speak-easy style of the Lounge where we had the bar and dancing. And we were able to have it all without asking our guests to relocate between the ceremony and reception! I'm so glad that Lakewood has this beautiful space for special occasions, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we have an event. Thank you so much!!

She was accommodating and creative. I plan a lot of events for work, and I have not come across someone more responsive or helpful. She thought through every detail of the event. The hall looked beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We had such a fun time. A couple other bonuses are that the you get the hall until midnight, you can bring your own alcohol and they have the perfect stage if you want a band at your event. I would highly recommend St. Demetrios if you are looking for a wedding venue on the west side of Cleveland. Thank you for making our day so special!

I wanted to visit this venue for the longest time. I finally stopped in for the Cleveland Vintage Market hosted by the Cleveland Vibes. Ambiance: The space is huge - over 11,000 square feet of open space. There are remnants of Tenk Machine & Tool outside - a little mural. There is one ballrooms and separate rooms to the back of the event space. The vibes are industrial sophistication - gorgeous exposed brick walls, wood details, and abundant natural lighting. I can absolutely envision a wedding here with juxtaposition of delicate and rough. I love exposed brick walls, so for me the venue was just perfect. It was also just right for the Cleveland Vintage Market. It fit in plenty of vendors and attendees with still sufficient room to roam. Marigold Catering: There were sandwiches and cinnamon rolls for sale during the event offered by Marigold. I did not try either. I really enjoyed Marigold catered food at other events I've historically attended at other venues around the city. Service: I interacted with the security staff at this venue. They were so friendly and great at directing the foot traffic. Parking: Parking is available at a surface lot next door owned by Marigold. If you're up for a show walk, Nautica Pavilion is also a good parking choice. Ubering to this destination is pretty easy, GPS shows an accurate location. She listened to what we wanted, was easy to get a hold of, had great ideas. She and her team were extremely helpful, and with her guidance our wedding ended up being gorgeous. Hilary made wedding planning easy. The venue is unique, and cool and so many of our guests complimented us on our choice and said that they had never been to a wedding like ours. We had an amazing time and are so happy with our decision. We had 110 guests and that was the perfect amount of space- although smART Space is larger and could have accommodated more people we did not feel as if the space was too big. 110 was the perfect size for our ceremony and cocktail hour in HEDGE.
