I called half an hour before closing asking for a mani pedi and to my surprise they took me in! They are so kind and clean. -My Shellac nails look so good and it's been weeks since I've gone. -Their pedicures are EASILY the best in town. This was my first visit and unfortunately I am not pleased. My cuticles were not pressed back and trimmed so they look awful. In addition, the acrylic was not laid all the way to my cuticle. The gap makes it look like my nails have grown out for a week or two already. And the acrylic was left very thick on top of my nails so it is very obvious they are not real nails. read more

Might have been the worst nail salon I've ever been to. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the tech was happy to adjust the shape how I liked. The reason I'm giving a bad review is because the workstation was downright unclean. Literally every product and tool was covered in dust. They used the Kabuki brush to swipe off dust, and it literally added more dust because it hadn't been cleaned so long. The nails themselves (full new set acrylic) were weak and flat. No curve when you look at them from the side. This is typical of many average nail techs. The uncleanness is what really deserved the rating. What's the point of using an antifungal base if you don't even clean anything? read more

EDIT: took my review from 2 stars to 1 now because I went back thinking it was just a fluke but again I had a nail fall off within a week. I've been getting my nails done for 8 years and have never had issues like this happen before. The yelp reviews aren't bad on this place but do a favor and look at the google reviews. I wish I did. I was originally going to give 4 stars because although he totally butchered a simple French tip design and I had to have him take it off, I liked the length, shape, and color of the nails. However I had one nail fall off after a week and two within two weeks which is just ridiculous. read more

I really like this spot! The ladies are from Los Angeles and know how to create the spa experience with a semi private service room (behind a large walk in wall), massage chairs, low lighting, and a nice bathroom. The owner and her crew all had their nails done and their skin was flawless! That's almost unheard of - the staff are rarely manicured themselves at most nail salons. had a really nice pedicure! the guy was so sweet and took his time. It was also very reasonable priced. honestly all the nail places here in Columbia are run down and this fits right into the pack. The place seems, like most places in Como- dirty and rundown! It doesn't help that they have as soon as you walk in a fish tank with nasty green water sitting at the focal point. I tried... my first experience was OK nothing great. I called they couldn't fit me in but then called me back 10 mins later saying come on in. I got a great pedicure and did SNS mani, it was ok. They have no nails or book to see the colors available, they have you just look at the jars of powder and decide, that was different and difficult. If course the powder always looks different once on. I did not like that. Today I was there a little before their noon opening. About 12:10 I called because it appeared it was not open, there was another person waiting also. A woman answered the phone but said they would not be there until 1:30pm! I really wish I could give a good review but I can't. The girl giving me a pedicure sighed loudly many times while giving the pedicure. It was obvious she hates her job. The husband and wife had their 6 year old sick child there crying for half of it. I'm a mother and sensitive to sick children, but I just paid $35 to relax. It is by far the worst pedicure I have had. I walked out with polish already cracking and looks like they drug cotton through it. I'll attempt to take a pic. Took my daughter to have her nails done for her birthday and a lady was working that I had never seen before. She rushed through the polish on her acrylics and they looked horrible. Very disappointed as they are more expensive than other places and usually the owners do an excellent job. To respond to owners response: a young guy who seemed to be in charge on the weekend and doing a good job put her acrylics on, but yes, the lady who had been doing pedicures absolutely was the one who then did the polish on her acrylics and it sounds like it is not something she normally does and perhaps that's why they did not turn out well. Great and clean nail salon. I came in for a fill after trying and hating a lot of other nail salons in Columbia. The man and the woman working were both very friendly and polite. Getting my acrylics filled was $15, which is great considering another salon in Columbia charges $30. The technician did a pretty good job. He took his time and made sure my nails were smooth and filed down properly. My only complaint is that the polish line at the bottom of my nails isn't totally perfect but other than that my nails look amazing! Considering price, cleanliness, customer service and end product I have to say this is the best salon I've been to in Columbia so far! read more

I recently moved to Columbia, so I was in need of a new nail salon. On a whim, I decided to try this place. I got a dip manicure and the young man who did my nails did a great job. I was pleased with the results. My one complaint was that the employees frequently moved the customers from one station to another (i.e. started your nails at one table, then moved you to another, and then moved you to a third station to let your nails dry). There was no sanitation or cleaning in between customers. As soon as the woman before me stood up, I was instructed to sit down. No attempt at all to disinfect surfaces. Hello??? Coronavirus! My nails did turn out well, so I decided to give this place another try. I walked in and asked how long the wait would be. I was told 20 minutes. After about 15-20 minutes, they said they were ready for me. From the time they started on my nails to the time my nails were done, it took TWO HOURS. A woman put foils on my nails to soak off the dip manicure I had on. But then she left me sitting there while she did another customer's pedicure. I sat with foils on my nails for a good 45 minutes. Then, an older man started on my nails. I've never had such a slow manicure in my life. When he finished after about an hour, my nails looked horrible. The surface was bumpy and ugly. The young man came over and tried his best to fix them, but they still looked bad. At that point I had been there for 2.5 hours for a simple dip manicure (on my natural nails, no tips or anything) and I was fed up and just wanted to leave. Never again!!! read more

Very poor quality nails and service. Had an appointment set for 4:30 didn't receive service until 5:30. When she began doing my nails she went straight it by putting the acrylics on didn't push back my cuticles or clean my hand what so ever. She then cut me twice using her drill and nail file and then proceeded to tell me it's okay and super glued shut my cuts with out asking if that's okay. To top it off she at the very end told me I had picked a certain color that would charge me more even though she didn't say anything about that the through out the process. My daughter and I have gone here a few times. Good prices and we have been happy with our nails. We had a reservation this last time and had to wait quite some time, but we didn't mind too much. I was surprised they didn't take advantage of the time they were closed during the stay at home order was on to clean. The entire place needs a deep cleaning. Came here hoping to get acrylics that would last more than a week. They fell off and I am very unhappy with the service. Susan was on her phone while attempting to do my nails and was very rude. I asked her to do minimal trimming on my nails and she told me she charges $3 for it. I have never been more unhappy with a nail salon. I was told I would wait 10 minutes and waited for over 30 minutes. Didn't think getting a FILL for acrylics would take an hour and a half. I would give this salon zero stars if I could. This salon ruined my nails and my gel manicure was a joke. The gel was no given enough dry time user the lamp so the coats were separating THAT NIGHT! Two nails broke by the next day and she refused to give me my money back with I even offered to let her keep the 14 dollars (20%) tip I gave her. She is also apparently the owner of this salon too and clearly does not take value in good business after how terrible this experience was for me. I was there for 3 hours when there was only 2 other costumers in the salon. This was also the dirtiest salon I have ever seen. It barely looked like they have cleaned up in days and the owner even admitted on Sunday's she never cleans up. She was on and off her phone multiple times trying to sell me skin care when I already sell a line myself. This salon has zero integrity and are a bunch of thieves. read more

I went to get a pedicure here, already wasn't very impressed with the pedicure itself because he filed my toenail to look like it was literally sideways... But then a few hours later my feet started itching like CRAZY. After a few days it got worse and worse, and turns out I got athlete's foot from fungus that can grow in the pedicure tubs if they are not cleaned properly. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I have never been more grossed out at the thought that I obtained a fungus from getting a pedicure somewhere. Also the entire time I was getting a pedicure the male staff member was hitting on me and my friends the entire time asking us to hang out because he is lonely and lives alone at his apartment...super uncomfortable definitely would not recommend. read more

Initially gave my experience 4 stars because apparently on Sundays, they only do walk-ins which luckily, there was only about a 15-min wait. I went in for a mani-pedi and first off, the massage chairs have rips and tears in them, the massage head was non-existent and on top of that, they do not use liners hesitantly, I stayed as the chairs looked as if they had not been used that day!? Despite all those , I ended up having a pretty good pedicure. The technician did a great job at the massage and my feet felt baby soft once that was done so Kudos for that! Now for the mani, I had gel polish that I wanted replaced for French manicure. He did an excellent job and I walked out happy, especially for the overall price paid . My reason for lowering my rating was because the gel polish on one of my fingers came off in less than 24 hours! With all that said, I cannot recommend this business. read more

This whole operation is a mess. The owner/waxer seems like a nice woman but everything from start to finish was an unprofessional debacle. I have never written a review on Yelp before but feel compelled to after this experience. I have this opinion based on the following things that occurred during my first and only appointment: - The waxing room was not ready at the time of my appointment, even though there were no other clients and the owner/waxer was not busy when I arrived. There was trash, leftover waxing materials, and an unclean paper sheet - she dealt with these things once I showed up instead of beforehand, delaying our start time by about five minutes. - The waxer insisted on talking to me throughout the appointment even though it was clear I was not interested in making chit-chat. People who provide spa services should "read the temperature in the room" as to whether a particular client wants to talk or not - we are the ones paying for the service and would often prefer some quiet relaxation rather than listen to someone's inane blather. - Related to the point above - the waxer kept talking about how many (expensive!) presents she was buying her children for Christmas. This did not make me want to give her a big tip. Why should I contribute my $10 to your daughter's karaoke machine, guitar, whatever!? - A brazilian wax took her an entire hour to complete. She seemed like this was one of her first times. She put wax on me one square millimeter at a time. - She left the room to answer the phone WHILE I HAD HOT WAX ON MY LADY PARTS! Hello!!!! I was more important at that minute. Let it go to voicemail for goodness sakes. - Last, don't tell someone her religion is "cute" and then proceed to ask a bunch of really offensive and blatantly misguided questions. If I could give no stars I would. This was horrible. I went in wanting gel manicure and pedicure. They tried soaking off my gel and wrapped it in foil with a heater. My hands were burning. Then my nails were curling in to my fingers and throbbing and burning. I told the guy and he argued with me saying those were my nails. They curve like that. I beg to differ. I am 39 and my nails never did that. He continued to argue. I made them stop and proceeded to file my own nails while the girl working I. I wish I could give 0 stars! Absolutely terrible. Woman spoke on the phone, very loudly the entire time I was getting my nails done. My pedicure looked terrible before I even left. I got gel nails because the guy convinced me it would stay on "2-3 weeks, no chipping". Within 2 days, they were chipped and peeling. I went in and asked for a refund and was told, very rudely, that it was my fault. When I said that wasn't possible, he blamed the polish. If the polish isn't good, why are you using it? Ridiculous. They said they couldn't give me a refund on a service and told me to come back the next day for them to "fix them". It wasn't worth my time or frustration. Don't go here! Terrible! read more

Me and my friend both went in, I got a Full Set and she got a Pedicure. We both had appointments, but still had to wait about 30 minutes for them to start on me. Then, they didn't even start on her until I was done (almost 2 hours after my appointment). I paid nearly $60 for my full set, which is more than I've ever paid for nails, but it was a Sunday and I was desperate. The whole time all she was worried about was her website (Yes, the owner/manager did my nails) and she paid more attention to trying to get her website up and running than doing my nails.
