Each time i went for a treatment i was told that if i wanted to continue treatments after my package ran out it would only cost me $50 per half hour session. ( apparently it was a special deal that they had for former sleek med spa clients). My package ran out and i went in bright and early on a saturday morning for my first $50 treatment. Before i even check in completely I'm told i need to buy a new treatment package for $1000! I told the person at the desk that 3 different people told me about the $50 per treatment moving forward.(The person at the front desk was one of the people who told me about the $50 per session! I guess she has a short memory.) I refused to be sucked in to a bait and switch so I guess i won't be going to this place anymore. I did give them an opportunity to redeem themselves - the manager has my name and number - if she calls me and honors the $50 per session that was promised to me i think i would be comfortable changing my opinion on here - but as it stands - bad business practices far outweigh any good treatments. My account was transferred to Laser Cosmetica when Sleek Med Spa shut down their Massachusetts locations. As I was brought into the treatment room, the woman asked me what I was there to get done. Her not know and not holding my file in her hand should have been my first clue that this was not a good company to be at. Next, she informed me that they only scheduled me for a half hour and I needed an hour. Now, I had scheduled an hour and told the technician this. She merely shrugged her shoulders and said, "It's been happening a lot." I looked past this and continued to lay down to start the treatment. As I lay on the table with my shirt off and the technician started, she decided this was a good time to ask, "Now, you know you have to pay for this treatment right?" I'm a life-time member of Sleek and paid all of my money upfront so therefore don't pay anymore. I told her I was never informed I'd have to pay more money, which was the second time she simply shrugged and said that this also happens a lot. The only thing she could tell me to do is go talk to the manager upfront. When I went to speak with the "manager" she told me someone should have...and that was it. No apology, no attempt to try to make the experience better. The only explanation she wanted to give to defend the business was that my appointment WAS scheduled for an hour and that the technician was wrong, NOT her. Everyone just kept passing the buck to the next person. If you are looking to get a laser treatment, GO ELSEWHERE!! This place is extremely unprofessional and unorganized.
