Lisa had to relocate (temporarily, I believe) to another Electrologist's space in Norwood. I was so happy that she called me to make an appointment after she was resituated there. She is very gentle, professional and really does a great job. She explained to me that it would probably take three sessions, each around a month apart to take care of my nuisance facial hair. First , let me say mine was a very difficult case. Years and years of tweezing coarse facial hairs and over a year and a half of failed electrolysis treatments at another practice. My face looked like a pepperoni pizza after each treatment which never completely resolved during the entire duration of my treatments. Bumps, pimples , redness and ingrown hairs. It was awful. I finally had to stop treatment to give my face a rest. Only to find out that the treatments were not even effective. All of the hairs came back very quickly. The follicles were damaged but not killed, so regrown hairs came in crooked or bent, often creating ingrown hairs. So now add bumpy skin texture to my original problem of excess hair. So now, 15 years later, after spending at least 20 minutes daily tweezing facial hairs and digging out ingrown hairs, I bit the bullet and called Lisa. She started treating my face and amazingly she was able to clear my hairs in one session. First sessions were about an hour long but clearing was immediate which was amazing in itself. And there was almost no irritation at all afterwards. Some redness right after the treatment but the next day you'd never know I had a treatment. So now about 10 months later, going every few weeks, my face is almost fully cleared. I can go weeks without seeing any hairs. My skin texture has improved so much because there are no more ingrown hairs or bumps. In my mind Lisa is nothing short of a miracle worker. She's obviously very skilled at what she does and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for permanent hair removal. I only wish I had found her years ago. read more

Lisa provides excellent electrology services. I have been to quite a few Electrologists since high school and she is the best! She is fast and efficient. I get my bikini area done. I've completed about six appointments and a good amount of hair isn't growing back anymore! . She is very nice and professional and I do not feel uncomfortable ever. Like most electrologists who are either home based or out of a small office, Lisa is home based, she has an office attached to her home. The space is very clean! Her location is really convenient as I live in West Roxbury. Most importantly she is efficient...she doesn't waste you're time talking too much instead of focusing on your appointment as I have experienced with other providers of this service. I have been going to Lisa since January after my cousin RAVED about her. My cousin was going to someone else for years and said she had better results in one session with Lisa, than she did the entire time she was with her previous electrologist. So I had to try it. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, which means higher testosterone levels, and I thought it also meant it would take me longer to see results. I honestly am amazed at how quickly I see a difference. Even friends have noticed and commented. As far as how she is as a professional, Lisa was nice enough to always accommodate me and book appointments based on the bus schedule since I don't drive. I have been there a total of 3 times, and I have to say that I am disappointed with the experience. She never gives you the total time that you booked your appointment for. She did that the first time and I gave her the benefit of doubt. Same thing the second time and today was no different. I was there today for a 30 min appointment. She told me she was running late, which is fine. She took me in at 4.40pm and at 4.59pm she informed me that she was done. I pointed out that we started at 4.40, and this was a 30 min appointment to which she said that she did 30min worth of work in 20 mins, and the time for a cool paper towel was included in the appointment time. I was charged $45 for the 20 min of time that she spent with me. I felt like I was robbed of my time and money. Her prices are also on the expensive side as compared to some electrologist, but it wouldn't matter if she gave you the full time that you were paying for. Not going there again. read more

I have been going to Lisa for almost a year now and She is good at what she does. She is knowledgeable, honest, and is not trying to rip you off. I went to other places before her and they were charging me alot of money for a tiny section of hair. If you have never done electrolysis it is not a quick fix results take time!!!! I've been seeing Lisa for about 5 treatments now. She's so nice, always making sure that I'm ok and not in pain, and I could already see results after the first couple treatments. She always finds time to fit me in-sometimes even twice a week! She's very real and down to Earth and I enjoy talking to her when I see her. There is always plenty of street parking, and I think the prices are pretty reasonable for Boston. She is the only one in her practice, so it makes for a very personal experience.
