But overall, this mall has definitely seen better days. While the exterior doesn't necessarily reveal the level of aging, when you get inside the mall you noticed pretty quickly but this mall is likely on it's downturn. There are several closed, or seemingly closed stores, and most of the traffic seems relegated to a couple of the larger department stores like H&M and Belk. A lot of empty kiosks in the middle of the walkway with the rest of them being occupied by local vendors that didn't seem to be getting much business at all. And if teenagers are still headed to malls on Saturday's to hang out, this is clearly not the mall that most of the local teenagers here hang out in as the traffic was surprisingly light for a Saturday - I just realized that may appeal to certain readers of this review. Lol. Anyway, unless you are visiting a specific store in this mall as a destination, I would probably suggest finding one of Jacksonvilles bigger malls for a true mall experience.

In this particular instance, there was a basketball vendor in that location, which leaves less spaces for customers to park. I'm not a huge fan of this mall. There are signs that say 40 minute max for charging since this is a busy location. I've never had an issue finding an open supercharger. I've noticed it usually starts out charging fast and then slows way down after around 20-30 minutes (maybe this is normal, I don't supercharge often).

OMG Cotton Candy also sells 42 flavors of popsicles and was known as Popsicle City before a name change in April 2025.

Horrible management issues…read more I watched as a young lady, who already paid for joining suites was told that she can be downgraded to two double rooms for all 8 of them. I'm telling you, we will not be back to this location. The front desk staff went in the back to talk to someone. When they came back they were asked who they went to see and never answered. Seriously, if this locations manager isn't fired, then Hampton Inn has issues. Shame on you.

From the moment we checked in until I departed, it has been a great experience. The evening receptionist was so friendly, it felt as if we were visiting her own her home. The first morning at breakfast, a hotel representative asked how I was doing and I could tell she was sincere. The second morning was a bit more engaging as the hotel room representative asked how breakfast was and then he said he wished I had a very good day. I re-approached him and I said I appreciated his sentiment. Who makes those kind gestures in this day and age? Thank you for your hospitality.
