The 1st ballast didn't work, he had 2 or 3 other small jobs to do, then came back at 4pm. This was a Friday....Jeremy came back with a whole new 8 foot light. Now the "fun": the ceiling has non moving metal spacers with the old fashioned large plastic tiles. That break easily....after much knocking and banging bc they didn't come apart, they were in channel-like settings, he got the light in. Now the other "fun" part: putting it all back together. Well, he did. And I turned the light on this morning, and when I did, vhow nice and bright it was. THANK YOU, Jeremy!!!

I have been blown…read moreaway with the professionalism, quality, and service provided by Carlos and his team, Larry, and Daniel in the office. I am in the final stages of selling a property and Carlos led his team to do a thorough electrical inspection and fix a list of requests from the buyers. He found many things that the house inspector overlooked, and we were able to take care of many issues to bring the property up to code - safety wise. But what is more impressive, is that Carlos heard arcing from the main panel, realized we had a much bigger issue, communicated all of this quickly! He caught was noone else did and probably saved the property from a much bigger isseu! Larry professionally and immediately facilitated ALL of the behind the scenes maneuvering to get power restored in the same week. I know this was a record timewise, and while it might not be repeatable every time for issues outside their control- Larry took it upon himself to do all that was possible to align the utilities and the city, to make it the shortest possible duration. AND Carlos and his team went so far above and beyond to fix all the issues and restore power correctly. He met with pool technician, solar technician and all worked together to make sure all the systems would be working as needed! They are a top notch operation all around and would highly recommend. Very poor customer service, professionalism, and willingness to work with the customer. Would not…read morerecommend this company. We hired Jeff to install a light fixture for us from Amazon and upgrade an outlet in a bedroom. Was quoted $200 for the light fixture installation and $175 to upgrade the outlet (this was under 5 mins of work). -We rescheduled with Jeff to come out on a Thursday. He forgot about the appointment and forgot what work even needed to get done. -He said he had time the next day on Friday. We were only available in the afternoon in which he dragged his feet to come to our property because "it was too far from his house". He ended up coming to install the light fixture despite being reluctant to do so. I'm not sure why he accepted a job if it was too far from his home. -As he's doing the work, he's complaining to us about his ex wife "being a bitch". Not professional, not relevant to our electrical problems. -He didn't end up fixing the light fixture because the Amazon part was broken. He asked my husband to go to the store and buy a new part. He eventually recommended we just buy a new light fixture. We did exactly that and thought he'd come back out to finally install the light (at this point I had already waited 1 week for him to come install this light). Then he said he didn't have time to come back for an additional week and he'd charge us again, even though the original work never was completed. -He also left our house a complete mess with electrical wires coming out of the wall because he didn't want to reinstall the light switch (so I can't use it now), dust on the ground and dining table, cut wires on the ground. I've never met someone who is comfortable charging you, leaving your house a mess, asking the customer to finish his job for him and run to the store (patch up the hole in the wall, reinstall the light switch), and not willing to come back to finish the job started. As a result, I asked for a partial refund since he never completed the work I originally hired him to do, and he said no. Really disappointed at this experience. Over a week later, and still no light and no reliable electrician.

The lady on the phone was so professional, seemed to care, was very transparent about pricing, timing, and what to expect. I waited two days for my appointment and Mike arrived. He was so thorough and showed us pricing for various things they recommended vs. fixing the bare minimum. I liked the thorough break down. While he was here I had him look at a loose outlet I'd had issues with since I had bought my home. I had another electrician come out and look at it before and he is the one that left it loose. The prior electrician couldn't figure out why the bottom socket didn't work. Mike looked it over for maybe five seconds max and knew what caused the issue instantly. He replaced the whole socket and he explained step by step as he installed the new one, because I was curious about it. I was really happy with the service and will be using them going forward.

Since I couldn't be home, my wife met with him, and she was very impressed by how respectful, personable, and professional he was. His attitude and professionalism (toward a woman) played a big part in our decision to hire KCG. The project included upgrading our electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps, installing a generator transfer switch, and adding a 240-volt outlet in the garage. On installation day, the crew arrived right on schedule. The team consisted of Kyle (the owner), Cliff, Mike (who did an outstanding job with the panel upgrade), and Gage. Everyone on the team was courteous, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. The installation was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and we're very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend KCG to anyone looking for quality electrical work at a fair price.
