Based on no follow through of something basic as a phone call, I went against my gut instinct and decided to give them one more chance. They gave me a one hour window of 2pm-3pm on Thursday. They never showed up. No one bothered to give me advanced warning of being late or not showing up. I called them, and a lady was fumbling her words and making a ton of excuses. The apologies sounded insincere as if it was something she was repeating all day long to people. She said she could reschedule me for the following Tuesday, but offered no ownership of the issue and no guarantee that the 3rd time would be any different. If they didn't want the job, then they should have told me. I wouldn't have wasted 2 days off and I wouldn't have written this bad review.

Smartron coordinated with the utility company to unlock the panels and arranged inspection at the end. They took care of everything. We had a problem with double taps on an electric panel. Smartron upgraded the necessary panels and fixed the double tap issues. As you can see from the pictures the work is very clean and organized. I will definitely call Smartron again if I need anymore electrical done in the area. Also, Smartron made sure there were smoke detectors located throughout in order to pass inspection. It failed its first trial with Hurricane Milton in October, 2024, two weeks after they gave it the all-clear. I don't mind spending extra supporting a local business but Accurate Power & Tech proved itself a public nuisance business and I could never recommend them for your home or business generators or electric.

Got a brand new $41,000 Kohler Generator system from APT. Had previously stated $15K but that was…read morean error. Commercial grade (for 6,000+sq ft home). Removal of existing set and replace with new one. APT came out and looked at what I had. Signed contract. Over a year later, due to supply chain issues, it arrives. Completed install, just needed Kohler to inspect. I paid the final half of the money owed (I had paid the first half to get the order in). Kohler says the installation is inadequate because there is no pad (only gravel underneath and that the shed it is housed in needs more ventilation. This was 8 April. I emailed and called, giving APT the general idea of what needed to be done. Kept contacting APT as to when they could fix the deficiencies. Kept saying we're waiting on the report. Then in May said they received the report and it was 100+ pages, so it needed to be read over. Kept asking for updates via email and they phone. Finally got an answer on July 9th: "I do not have any time to get over there for the duct work that needs to be done. At this point we will sub it out to another company to get the items installed for the proper venting. If this is ok with you? As far as the slab, I can only think of us pouring cement over the existing gravel to bond it together for a base. We have no real way to lift the generator up that high to get a preformed slab underneath it. I can set this up in the next week or so if you would like?" POC for APT is Chris Etheridge By this time, three months later, I had already contacted another company that actually seemed to know what they were doing. They stated that the installation is sub par and that they will work with me to get it up to standard. Right away, I could tell the new company was much more competent. So, I will no longer be dealing with APT. I have filed a BBB complaint against APT. Hopefully, it will go somewhere.
