He charged $5000 and he said he couldn't mic my upright bass, even though almost every recording engineer in history could. He ran the pickup into an amp and wouldn't let me adjust it at all. The result was the worst bass I've ever had from it. When I asked to change it he started directly insulting me and was consantly belittling me. When I started getting upset he got worse. I directly told him that I had tendon issues when it's cold and then he intentionally turned off the heat while giving me a passive aggressive attitude. I ended up seriously hurting my thumb and had to stop playing. He then came over after and acted like I never told him about it just to rub it in. The entire experience was a nightmare. He was the most expensive option we had and he was completely unprofessional all around. read more
