He provided me with a used part rather than charging me for a new one. This was a good experience for me and my computer. The only catch is finding the shop. All you have to know, though, is that it is in the back right hand corner of the shopping center behind the Gold store. It does not have its own obvious sign above, but has one on the sidewalk. Finally, my 3 year old grandson managed to break the on-off switch and I panicked, swallowed my pride and stopped by Computers of Charleston. These guys know what they're doing and are nice enough to help a 70 year old grandmother choose a new computer and transfer her special stuff on to it. He charged me $180, told me the drive was corrupt, and told me I had to mail my hard drive to a data recovery place in Georgia for $600 if I wanted my pictures back. I was distraught! Robert recovered my data and made me a thumb drive in a few hours for a 1/3 of the cost with no problems at all. I am very impressed with his quick turnaround and knowledge about data recovery!
