From the beginning, Adis was incredibly responsive, punctual, professional, and very reasonably priced. He communicated with us throughout the entire project, explaining what he was doing and keeping us informed every step of the way. We initially thought we only needed a straightforward light replacement, but it turned out that the previous recessed lights were installed in old-style cans, and many had actually been glued and nailed into the ceiling, making removal extremely difficult. There were also some lighting issues when we bought the house due to the wiring throughout the house, which was a bit of a mess. We had a different (ALSO LICENSED and well-rated) electrician come over before for a different installation and he couldn't figure out the wiring/lighting issue! Instead of taking shortcuts or just giving up (like the other one, who was also nice and professional, did), Adis carefully corrected everything the right way. In a few areas, removing the old recessed lights caused some paint to come away with them, but he took the time to patch and clean each opening so every new light fit perfectly--tight, flush, and professionally finished. His attention to detail was incredible, and the final result was immaculate. He also installed a new outlet in our garage exactly the way we wanted it. When he finished, he cleaned up thoroughly, leaving the house spotless. It's rare to find someone who is this skilled, honest, communicative, and meticulous. Recently we called him to replace a finicky GFCI outlet. Without being asked, he took the initiative to reorganize and label the order of the outlets, and align them with the location of the appliances. I hadn't even really appreciated that the original set-up was flipped, which meant that the wires were always overlapping and messy. It was a small adjustment, but it reminded me of the extra care and thoughtfulness Nishan always brings to his work. I will continue to rely on Nishan and his team because in addition always being pleasant and respectful, their pricing is fair and competitive.

One day, none of the lights or outlets in my bedroom stopped working. I checked the panel, and none…read moreof the circuit breakers had flipped. I tried flipping everything off and on again -- no dice. East West came by the next day and diagnosed the problem methodically and carefully. They went through the bedroom first to establish the state of the electrical load and got a hot ground reverse reading. Look that up if, like me, you don't know what it means. Then they went through all the circuit breakers in my main panel and subpanel to establish which circuit the room was on. They found it on a circuit that, frankly, surprised me, because it also had some other unrelated rooms on it. At this point, they suspected some miswiring between the panels that had occurred when our solar system was installed. A couple times during this process, they also went into the overhead crawlspace to trace the circuit physically. During the second trip up there, we stumbled onto an epiphany: "CJ, there's a wire heading into your garage up here. What's over there?" "Oh, um... there's another panel in there that I forgot to tell you about." "I think we should look at that." Turns out that the third panel had a loose wire in it that was causing the problem! During this process, they explained to me everything they were seeing and considering. I learned a lot about circuits and amperage. At the end, they cleaned up after themselves, suggested I repaint my overhead access with oil-based paint to make it easier to wipe down, and charged me a fair price. When we bought our house in 2019 Roy's crew did a new panel upgrade to 200A and ran new 240V lines…read morefor HVAC and jacuzzi and connected to new solar. In the contract was also a 240 line for an EV charger under the house so that it would be ready for hookup once we bought an EV and he verbally assured me it was there, ready to go, and he could hook it up once we bought the charger. When we bought an EV in early 2024 we discovered that there was no 240 line in place. But after several weeks of cajoling (my calls and texts were incessant), he did make good with sending a crew out to run the line that was already paid for 4.5 years earlier, and to his credit he did ONLY charge for the cost of connecting the charger (which was understandable). But rather than a single run line of #6 with 60A circuit as is recommended for this charger, his crew ran a cheaper setup of 40A breaker with #8 wire but no dedicated conduit, connected through 2 junction boxes near each end. Also, they connected the charger to the 40A circuit but did not set the charger to a maximum 32A charge as it clearly says in the charger's manual. So within a couple of months charging at 48A max charge, the wires burned up, which seems like a major fire hazard that could have burned down our house. A different electrician saw that they had not set the maximum charge on the charger correctly and said they should have at least warned me to do so. His crew came back to have it fixed but they only replaced the wires going from the charger to the nearby junction box and didn't say anything (again) about max charge but I looked it up and set the max to 32A myself and had a different electrician check it was done correctly. Even still, a few months later, the problem repeated, with the wires burning up in the junction box (see photos) and now he is saying he is only willing to repair the connection inside the junction boxes again but will not redo it more safely as a single run. I can't trust that it won't burn up again with the current setup using the junction boxes (which seems like a fire hazard!), so I now feel I need to pay someone else to redo/correct his crew's work. He was barely responsive when I first contacted him in 2024 to ask where the line was that he promised, but when he did finally come through... he did it on the cheap. He was barely responsive when I pointed out the problems and fire hazard a few months later but did finally come through. And again more recently he did not respond for a while but was finally responsive. But he only offered to repair something in the same way... that has already broken 2 times. I will give him credit for not totally ghosting me and he did make some effort to make good on the contracted work. But ultimately Roy did not come through with solidly-performed job but rather has decided to cut his losses and just do the bare minimum. Disappointing.

Power went out to a few circuits in my house without the breaker tripping. When i pulled the panel…read morecover off, intending to replace a few breakers myself, there was an arc from the panel, at which point I decided this needed professional help. Sean came by to give me an inspection and an estimate, but while pushing the breakers back in so at least my fridge would run, there was another arc, and a glob of molten aluminum dropped down from the meter. At that point it moved on from estimate to immediate repair. He disconnected everything, went out and bought an all-new panel and breakers and re-fitted the new buss bar and connections into the existing box. The fact that I'm writing this now shows he was successful; everything is back up and better than new, at a price I figured would be double what it was. I knew I could trust Sean when I saw he was also left-handed, and he did not disappoint.
