He came to my condo and placed 2 celling lights without any issues. He was kind to answer all my questions during the time period he was in for. But, even we talked that he will bring the dimmers since he already mentioned the ones I got might not work, he forgot to bring them. He can forget, I understand that so we talked and he said he will come again, buy the dimmers and place them. Well, he forgot twice, I made him remember 3 times, he stopped messaging and communicating. I understand these things are time consuming for them but if he promises, he should accomplish the job. First off, I'd like to say that I suspect some of these ratings are fake. I called Waz because of his great rating on Yelp. In making the appointment over the phone, he demonstrated a strange level of unprofessionalism, which left me feeling a bit uneasy. But I decided to overlook it because of his great ratings. We made an appointment for a quote, to which he was half an hour late for. Not really a big deal, it happens. My boyfriend and I just bought a home, and need a significant amount of work done in order to comply with insurance requirements. When Waz arrived, he dismissed some of my concerns, saying work was not necessary. He kept telling me he would do the minimum amount of work necessary, to help save me money. I told him I wasn't interested in cutting corners, and that I wanted everything completely done, so I wouldn't have to deal with it later. His inspection was very quick, and not particularly intensive. There's no way he could have properly put together a quote with how little he examined the problems. He also didn't write anything down in order to formulate my quote. Nevertheless, he promised he'd have a quote for me within a few business days. It's been over two weeks, and I've received nothing from him. Needless to say, I won't be using his services. read more

Waz was incredibly difficult to get hold of, by email or phone (in both cases, he blamed being someone who worked with his hands as his reason to not answer the phone/email, and suggested I should contact by the opposite method). When I finally was able to schedule a meeting with him (he even asked me to email him the details so he would remember), I still had to call him when he was late instead of being reached out to, and we had to reschedule an hour later. After looking around our office, he said he would send a quote to me by EOD, and that quote never came. I emailed him a couple days later asking for the quote with no reply. Waz lengthened a set of kitchen track lighting in my kitchen and put in new long life bulbs and fixtures. He also put new overhead bulbs in bathroom and hall. He was fun, fast and efficient although online and phone communication was challenging. Texting worked best. Pricing seemed fair. My only complaint is that he never finished one little microwave bulb installation that he said he would do, and he now won't reply to my texts. read more

Okay, perfect is perfect but attention to detail is outstanding. Waz is truly the best. I've been around bitter electricians for a large portion of my life and Waz changed everything. I live in a 140 year old building with some interesting wiring that was brutally redone in the 80's. I had hung a 60's-style orb chandelier that didn't seem to be working properly. Waz instantly found a short and then fixed it by taking the light apart and then finding the problem. Awesome! The next problem was a faulty switch. He came back the next day a fixed that problem and included the work in the previous day's pay. Waz came on an "emergency" trip to our house...he fixed the problem with our breaker in about 10 minutes and saved us a lot of unnecessary worry. In the time remaining, he also advised us on some other electrical questions we had about our potlights and adding dimmers, and he gave me lighting decor advice thereby saving me $357 (bad Home Depot online lighting purchase). I needed to install new lights in my condo and when I tried to do it myself the electricity went down in the whole room. I am very happy about Waz's service, he was available very quickly and fixed my issue in no time!! He even fixed some plugs that were not working for a longtime! I was extremely impressed with the service Waz provided. From our first phone conversation he was friendly and professional, and in person I found him to be knowledgeable, honest, and hardworking.
