My wife and I found this place today and it was exactly what we needed. We had inherited a pond…read morefrom the former owners of the home we purchased nearly two years ago and since we were not involved in the creation of it, we really did not understand how it worked when the pump died. We had spent several hours since the pump went out browsing around online and it appeared that the Tetra biofilter (originally a part of the pond) was no longer a crowd-pleaser. We spent about an hour with Mark Oberst really understanding how the whole system worked and he also walked us through making connections on the hoses that seemed somewhat daunting to us non-plumbing types. He even demonstrated creating a connection, and loaned us the rest of his primer and marine-grade concrete so that we could get started right away. I get that this place is hidden from the road and may not look well supplied at first, but the expertise and years of high-level installations and trade-show exhibits and awards really shows as you get into the details of a project. He's got an eclectic little zen paradise hidden away back there that is worth a visit. We also picked up one of the lilies that he had grown to decorate our pond and if we weren't backed up to the jungle, with predators taking fish regularly, we would have loved to bring home some of the stunning koi he raises. We had our pond back up and running same day and will be back for more ideas in the future. You cannot go wrong with this kind of down-to-earth, knowledgable, and fairly-priced pond paradise!
