Electric Connection did a great job installing my electric vehicle charger! John returned my calls, showed up when he said he was going to, and he's even funny!! Thanks John!! read more

John and RJ are as good as it gets! Quick connection, arrived when they said they would and did the work right then for a fair price. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional. I'll definitely use them for all future work. read more

I reached out to John (Electric Connection) after reading the many positive reviews regarding his service. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. John and a crew member arrived punctually (which is rare these days). It took less than 30 minutes for them to change the three fixtures. John was very courteous over the phone and in person. He was a pleasure to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend his services. read more

This is a company that goes the mile for their customers!! They have a great group of people who work for them. can only say that if you have any electrical needs these guys are the ones to call read more

John and his staff were on time and very professional. They took the time to do the job right. They have installed two ceiling fans in my house so far. My house is an older house and all the light switches are connected to wall sockets. So when I say install, I mean they had to do it from the ground up. They put the holes in the ceiling, ran wiring from the wall switches to the fans, got in the attic and installed the braces and wiring harnesses, assembled the fans, and installed the fans. Once they were done, they also cleaned up. They did all the work for a reasonable price. I have a few more fans and can lighting that I need installed and I will be using Electric Connection for the work. read more

On a rainy Tuesday morning, the power in our kitchen went out. I flipped the breakers in the very old circuit box, but I could not get one of them to go all the way off/on so the power to the kitchen stayed off. I checked the reviews on Yelp (also Angie's List) and decided to call Electric Connection. John Seccombe answered my call and made time in his busy day to come to help us! Of course, it was that one breaker causing the problem. John was able to do what I could not & we quickly had a functioning kitchen! He was on time, professional, and courteous. At my request, he also gave me an estimate for a new box, breakers, and all that is required with that project. I would definitely call John again with no hesitation for electrical work. PS: the phone posted on Angie's List (916-526-3225) did not work! I did call the number on Yelp (916-988-4477) and John answered on the 3rd ring! read more

It can seem at times that a good contractor is hard to find, an exceptional contractor like this is very rare. From initial contact to completion of the project was outstanding. John was my 5th and final bid and I was instantly impressed with his level of knowledge and had no hesitation on hiring him. He did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it for the price he said it was going to be. The final project came out far cleaner then I ever expected. I have my electrician for life now! 5-star service read more

I needed a couple of small projects and had a hard time finding an electrician that would take the job. I explained to John what I needed and he said he would be able to help me. I was very happy with the work he and RJ did. I will use the Electric Connection for future work, and I recommend them highly. read more

I would give Electric Connection a sixth star if I could. Outstanding professionals delivering high-quality service and craftsmanship, always reasonably priced, a pleasure to work with, no surprises. John treats your house like it is his own. He is happy to explain any aspect of the process and is adept at making the technical details understandable to all. I spoke to several electricians before landing on John and Electric Connection. He installed an upgraded electrical panel and routed new power to our 120-year-old home, added new outlets, selectively rewired several areas of the house and even installed a couple of chandeliers. We saved a ton of money by taking John's advice to rewire essential areas first and upgrade the rest a step at a time. He's top-notch and he's always busy. Book early. read more

John and RJ, the best!! I have had to hire plenty of people being a home owner and landlord and no one is as professional as John. He shows up when he says he will and walks you through every step. He knows and is recommended by other business's as well as by SMUD. He knows exactly what he needs to do and a great boss because RJ has been a very happy employee. Need an electrician for any electrical stuff call John! read more

I highly recommend Electric Connection. We had a large number of can lights installed in the ceiling. John was able to do the installation without opening the ceiling to run the new wires, even though there was little or no space above the ceiling. Other electricians said the ceiling must be opened. The job was done on time, the quality was high, and the price reasonable. read more

I used this company to install an outside ceiling fan and a dedicated circuit in my kitchen. They were excellent. Clean neat and easy to work with. John and R.J. were nice guys too. I highly recommend them! read more

I love the work John and RJ recently provided! I had 10 recessed light fixtures installed and 4 of those were on a vaulted ceiling. The other electrical company that I was considering stated they might not be able to install the lights on the vaulted ceiling and that they might be able to install only 2 of the 4 I wanted in that room. John checked the ceiling and roof slope from the outside and told me that he could do all 4! Needless to say I went with John and I am a very happy with my decision! The duo were prompt, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and reasonably priced. I will be hiring Electric Connection for future work! read more

John and his crew are very dependable, arriving on schedule and very swiftly when called. Quite personable and engaging, they were very helpful in our kitchen remodel. Did a fair amount of work, yet very reasonable. Fun to chat with, and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Have used them several times, and will call them again, anytime I have electrical issues. read more

After researching different electricians and calling around I decided to go with Electric Connection to do the work for my master bedroom renovation. When I first called, John was great and moved his schedule around so that he could come by to quote the project at a time that worked for me. I especially liked that he did not charge a dispatch fee (the other company I was considering was going to charge $75 for someone to come out). He showed up right on time and since I am a full time working mother it was especially nice that I didn't have to wait around in a 2 to 4 hour window like some companies do. He was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. His quote was reasonable and he was not pushy to hire him or spend more money. I thought over the quote and felt comfortable hiring him so I called back a few days later to schedule a date to execute the work. I am very much looking forward to getting the work done! read more

Dennis, John and RJ were EXTREMELY helpful in getting our hot tub up and running. We had a brand new hot tub delivered and were disappointed to learn that we needed to replace our existing hot tub electrical to meet code :( I called Dennis from Electric Connection and he came out immediately to look at the problem. The next day John and RJ came out with special equipment to find the electrical underground that was needed. I thought they would return another day to do the work....I was wrong, they went straight to work. After the job was done, they offered to help my husband get the hot tub off the bricks that the delivery company left it on, so that we could start using our new toy immediately...not a part of their job description! So nice! They are kind, professional, hard working, clean and thorough. Best part...they came in UNDER what they quoted me. I highly recommend Electric Connection. read more
