This is easily some of the worst service I've experienced at a restaurant, and unfortunately it's not the first time it's happened at El Dorado Seafood. On my most recent visit, my group of three came in around 12 PM during peak hours. Waiting about an hour for a table was expected, so that wasn't the issue. The problem started after we were seated. We sat at the table for around 30 minutes without a single server acknowledging us. No greeting, no water, no chips, no drinks, nothing. We were literally sitting there wondering if anyone even knew we had been seated. After half an hour of being completely ignored, we decided to leave because it was obvious we weren't going to receive any actual service. This also isn't an isolated experience. On another visit we came with a larger group of about eight people, and the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill. Normally that would make sense for big parties, but the service was terrible. Drinks went empty and stayed empty, nobody checked on the table, and the overall attitude from staff felt careless. It honestly feels like once the automatic gratuity is added, the effort disappears. The frustrating part is that the food used to be good, but the restaurant clearly can't handle the amount of customers they pack into the place. Long waits, disorganized service, and tables being ignored completely ruin the experience. The parking lot is also a mess. When we were leaving, cars were parked in ways that boxed people in and created total chaos trying to get out. There's no organization and no control over the situation. Between the extremely long waits, inattentive staff, automatic gratuity for poor service, and chaotic parking, the overall experience here is just frustrating. There are plenty of other places to eat seafood where you won't spend hours waiting just to be ignored. read more

Small-town little eatery with quick service, loud and a large selection of seafood dishes. My son picked a shrimp ceviche, my daughter a carne asada quesadilla, and I ordered aguachiles estilo de Sinaloa. Our expectations weren't met by the meals. Even after I told the waitress about the extremely spicy aguachiles, she dismissed me and walked away, acting as though I had insulted her, even though I hadn't meant to, and I was still charged. The inside decor is fun and seating is comfortable. It's a lively atmosphere and fun experience to eat here. Pricing is fair and portions are large. Who could possibly give this lower ??!!! first time here, and it is excellent. My husband had the shrimp and octopus seafood and said it was just delicious. Not being a fishy person. I had the tacos Asada. It came with three tacos. Lots of fun, pickled onions, guacamole, and cabbage. Just delicious I'm a fan of salsa and chips, as you know, so delicious!!!!! The food here is amazing, but the service has become really disappointing. The last few times we've visited, it has felt like the staff didn't want to serve us. At first, we thought it might just be one rude employee, but today when we went to pick up our order, we were blatantly ignored. Staff walked around us to help other families, acted like we weren't even there, and left us standing up front without acknowledgment. When we finally asked for help, they laughed at us. If we hadn't already placed a pick-up order, we would have just left. Love the interior of the place. Cute but clean. I would say the food was alright tho. I've had better oysters other places and also the fried shrimp tacos were a little over cooked. The fish tacos were amazing! I love the fresh ingredients they use and probably the best guacamole I've had at a restaurant so far. i came here with some family members as I was visiting from California about two weeks ago. the waitress Sarabi (i don't really remember her name) accused me of Dining n dashing and I've only been there once before (August 1, 2021) and again that was also with the same family. I've been here 4 or 5 times now and have never had a bad experience. Today I went alone and was sat at the crowded bar (around 2:30pm on a Friday). My server was awesome. I'm not a Spanish speaker but they have always been friendly, welcoming and helpful to me. I got the Camarones A La Diabla. This is something I've had many times at many different places in a handful of different states. Well, today I had the best Camarones A La Diable I've ever had! The sauce was fantastic. Ample portion of well prepared shrimp. They served the shrimp tails-off which I really like with a saucy dish like this, especially since I make use of their corn tortillas to make shrimp tacos out of this dish. I think I'm going to be here a little more often. I didn't get ceviche on this visit, but I really like ceviche, so I've got to go back with the family and order a larger variety of dishes. Molcajete Supercharged was good but you have this big bowl and seafood is just on top, after that all you get is veggies. Fried mojarra was fried in old oil and had no flavor on. I delivered some food yesterday from here to a customer and it looked delicious and one of the customers invited me to try the shrimp empanadas they ordered and they were very tasty! So me and a friend that lives close by ordered delivery from here today. We both ordered marlin tacos, I also ordered the empanadas which made me choose 2 sides, I picked rice and beans. I also ordered shrimp and mango ceviche. Neither of us got fish tacos, my friend thinks his had ham in it, "no fish died for his tacos", his words exactly, and I got shrimp tacos instead of fish. We guessed they maybe ran out of marlin so they chose to substitute without asking us if it was okay or giving us another choice?? I also didn't get rice or beans with the empanadas, maybe they aren't supposed to come with any? I didn't want to order sides with them anyway so that wasn't a big deal. And my ceviche had shrimp and octopus, not just shrimp as I'd ordered. The food tasted great! But wasn't what we ordered so instead of giving a 4 star rating (they'd have to devein the shrimp in the tacos to get a 5 star rating from me) they get 3 stars. Some customers would have been really upset at not getting what they ordered. Only went here one time and ordered the filete de zarandeado. It was fantastic! It was kind of like a stew, and it was piping hot. The flavors were excellent! It came with rice, and a little lettuce and avocado. The corn chips and salsa were pretty good. Since this was the first time I've ever been to El Dorado, I will be generous. I'd like to go back and try some other dishes. The wait staff was ok. Of course they have to wear masks and it's not an easy job, so I was also generous with the tip. About 5 minutes goes by and a woman behind the counter looks out at me and asks what I need? lol I'm staring right at my to go order behind the counter, you know the one I payed for and that to go order being the only one there at 9pm now she looks at me and says what's your name? So I tell her and she says how you spell that lol spell it anyway you want it's the only one there?.. Aanywayy I finally get out of this place and go home put my cocktail away in the fridge for latter when I'm hungry also mind you it was a medium cocktail not large cost about 13 bucks after tax so not cheep right? Ok so I'm finally really feeling it about three hours latter so I bust open the bag, open the container and the Accoutrements and first off- there was no lime!? Ok This is a Huge no no for me unforgivable really. But if that wasn't bad enough the avocado was brown now I'm pissed! So I thought ok it still smells ok so I scrape off the dead brown shit color Avocado into the garbage no doubt 3 dollars worth then place a small amount of what's left into a bowl now this is were I just can't anymore it was anything but traditional looking but I scooped up some of the liquid and a shrimp and gave it a go.... I really, really wish I had not done that. It was as if someone had taken some really bland ass Pico and pored some watered down Clamato juice over it and threw in some overcooked unpeeled shrimp that had not been Deveined into it then to top it all off hid some of the most strong ass giant BO smelling onion chunks I've ever tasted into it. I spat it out immediately! Now If you have ever had real authentic Cocktail De cameron you'd know it's spicy but mellow and if done right all the flavors from the ingredients Marry just right. I ordered a Molcajete (cielo, mar y tierra) which translated means (sky, sea and land) . It includes sautéed shrimp, grilled chicken and grilled beef. The beef was the cheapest cut of beef which they try to tenderize by putting in a juice. It would've been better if you would've used a more tender cut of beef (ranchera) . Also, when you put grilled chicken into like a soup or sauce it changes the whole complexity of it. Guys there's no need for the sauce if you can make your food tender and more flavorful. Just a recommendation. I don't think I'm going to order this plate ever again. I'll try something else next time. The deep fried rolled up shrimp tacos are fantastic! That's what I got last time!
