Had a great time as a 2nd time visitor to this POLO CLUBlove the grounds the friendly people...it's kid and pet friendly.!

Polo season at EDPC is from November to April. Spectators are allowed to tail gate and watch the matches. Great place to spend a few hours relaxing and watching the action. Good looking women bouncing around on horses for the men and men in tight pants for the women. After the games head over to the Tack Room for a drink.

Match on Sunday, January 13th.

This event is not open to the public. They will not let you in. Do not waste your time. I attempted to go on 2-20-2022.

Acrisure Arena is gorgeous. Small (= intimate), not a bad seat in the building. Inside the arena, a plethora of food and drink options. All the standards, plus. Nice selections. I came to see the Firebirds hockey, and loved it. Recommended.

I've been to Acrisure Arena 15+ times for different events--concerts, hockey, shows, and basketball…read moregames--and I've noticed that parking prices seem to go up every time. This last visit really did it for me. I went to see Cardi B, which was a great show, and I had amazing seats. My mistake was taking an Uber from my house, which is normally only a 10-minute ride. It ended up taking 50 minutes just to get into the rideshare drop-off area. It honestly felt like they were prioritizing VIP and self-parking over rideshare, because those lines were moving while we were stuck in stopped traffic. Getting picked up afterward was even worse--it took over two hours because our Uber driver couldn't get in. For an arena of this size that's been open for several years, I would expect a much better system and flow for rideshare. I understand parking is a big source of revenue, but if rideshare is offered as an option, it should also be managed as a priority.

The three dream MLB fields -- Wrigley Field, Fenway Park, and Yankee Stadium -- have outfield walls painted to look like the real parks, complete with crowds and replica scoreboard. These fields looked well-maintained. Our grandson's games were in "Yankee Stadium" under the lights and "Fenway Park". These fields are laid out so their home plates are adjacent separated by stadium seating and a "Stadium Club" with a full service bar and food. The food we tried was not so good (2/5), including cardboard pizza and cold French fries. Parking is tight. Admission is $8 pp for a full day with in-and-out privileges.

Big League Dreams are always nicer than other parks in some ways, but this one is only OK. Walkways…read morebetween the fields are *extremely* narrow, and the restaurant/bar is dated and shabby. But the biggest problem is no shading for the premium stadium seats, only a little over the bleachers. That's unforgivable in Palm Springs where we were cooking in the stadium seats in late February - I can't imagine what it's like in May or June. One plus is foul ball nets above the stadium seats, but without shade there you'll want to avoid them for day games when the sun is out. Needs some true improvement.

The entrance line looked intimidating at first, but it was well organized and moved surprisingly fast. The park opened in April 2004 and has hosted many concerts from the first ballpark concert by The Rolling Stones to recent concerts by Green Day and Blink-182. Our party came here for the daily guided tour. [Parking]: Free street parking was available on Sunday and I parked near the intersection of Eighth Ave and Island Ave. There is also a parking structure across from the Western Metal Building Box Office (the 6th & K Parkade) with $1 per hour rate ($15 daily maximum until 6 PM). [Check-in]: Visitors are expected to check in at the Western Metal Building Box Office near the intersection of K St & Tony Gwynn Dr. Tour start times range from 10 AM to 2 PM, so check the website for details. [Ticket]: $41.50 per person plus $1 per ticket fee. [Experience]: The tour was expected to last 80 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 90 minutes. During the tour, our party was able to see the Private Luxury Suite, Cutwater Coronado Club, Padres Hall of Fame (Tony Gwynn aka "Mr. Padre," Trevor Hoffman, Dave Winfield, etc.), Breitbard Hall of Fame, Blue Shield Home Plate Club, Press Box, Field Warning Track (including sitting in the dugout with photo opportunities), and the Visitors Clubhouse. The tour guide was fairly knowledgeable. One interesting fact I learned was that there is no left-field foul pole & the corner of the Western Metal Building serves as the left-field foul pole. In addition, visitors get 10% off at the Padres Team Store and Bub's at the Ballpark with their tour tickets (valid only on the day of the tour). Unfortunately, the Team Store was closed during the day of our visit. [Conclusion]: While Petco Park doesn't have the rich history as Dodger Stadium or Wrigley Field, it is still a fine ballpark in its own right with beautiful waterfront views.
