If I could give zero stars, I probably would. This place is extremely unprofessional. Me and my…read morehusband were on vacation and decided for our last day to book a fishing time block from 7am-11am. We were advised to show up at 7am at this dock, we showed up around 6:50. Once 7am hit there was nobody in sight that seemed they would be taking us out that day so we waited until 7:15am. Still nobody. My husband called the number provided for this company and nobody answered. he waited about 5 minutes and called again, still no answer. Around 7:22am the number texted my husband saying he wasn't notified that we booked the trip and he would not be able to take us out that morning. He did refund us all of our money, took about a week and half to two weeks to get our refund. This charter lacks all around. Do not book with them.

Fish Pro Charters - Captain Kellen…read more Captain Kellen Ankrum flat out worked his butt off for us! My teenage son and I had fished a short trip with him last autumn. I liked him enough to book two full-day trips with him for myself and a buddy 8 mos in advance. So last week, we fished for Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper (several kinds), Amberjack, and even caught a Cobia and hooked a small shark. The AmberJack fight like banshees, and the Grouper were big enough to stress your arms to the max! I have never tasted fish as sweet as Mangrove Snapper and Red Snapper. We limited out easily in the first 90 minutes! We fished in-shore; Tampa Bay under the Sunshine bridge; sandbars; "the Hole"; and 40+ miles off-shore on those two days. Had a blast!!! Knowledgeable, friendly, laid back, smooth boat, adjusts his methods to your level of ability, and just flat out works hard!!! Just don't book him on the days I go back!!!

What a delight to have this fresh from Florida seafood market just a short drive away. The owner…read moregot started during covid with a 'popup' sight in a parking lot to test his market and validate the need given there was another fresh fish market, 'big boy' operation, in the area. Thankfully he did and with the help of family & friends, launched. The owner travels to Florida 2-3 times a week to bring back the freshest seafood. He will take specific orders. Prices are fair. I was planning a luau with specific fish. I called to verify, Bahli the owner called me back and listened and advised, and was so kind and helpful. I recommend calling if you want something specific, as the website is representative of what is actually in stock. Otherwise just show up. Always fresh and good variety of seasonal and all season fish & seafood. Very engaged in the community. Minority owned and operated. Support this small business. Location is tricky as it is on the westbound one-way of Lanier/hwy 54, just a couple of blocks from Fayetteville town square.

Special thanks to Kat for taking the time to describe the choices, since I'm most familiar with the quite different Pacific Ocean fish, so helpful!

We got a nice tour passing by a mangrove and by the time we reached under the bridge where the catfish live, it was dark enough for our LED lights to illuminate the water so we could see and feed the catfish. Then it was a nice paddle back to shore. This is the perfect date night activity, whether you're beginners or have done it before. Only 2 people max can be in the same kayak as long as they are under the weight limit, so if you come in odd numbered parties, someone will have to be fine with kayaking alone.

While I understand that weather can impact operations and trips may need to be canceled for safety,…read moremy frustration comes from the complete lack of communication before and after the cancellation. Prior to the trip, I attempted multiple times to contact the company with questions through email, text, and Facebook messages. There was no way to leave a voicemail, and despite messages clearly being read, I received no response. Then, just four hours before the scheduled trip, a generic automated email was sent canceling the experience and instructing customers to request a refund. After that, communication again became nonexistent. I received no response regarding next steps for the refund despite repeated outreach. Unfortunately, I ultimately had to file a dispute with my bank to recover the payment for a service that was never rendered. Weather cancellations are understandable -- poor communication and lack of customer support are not.
