We had the appetizer assortment consisting of lamb, chicken and onion bharji which was fantastic. Popadoms were fresh and served with a delicious pickle tray. I had the lamb balti which was one of the best i've ever had, fall apart tender morsels of lamb in a delicious brown curry sauce, spiced to perfection, incredible dish all round, i added chapati and rice and couldn't be happier with my decision. Service was outstanding, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff making this my new go to Indian whenever i'm in the UK!

I thought the dishes were fine quality, tasty and not too spicy. Good prices and good portions, suitable for sharing. Loved the atmosphere, with low lighting from chandeliers with red highlights and lounge music. It seemed more modern and hip than a standard Indian joint. The crowd was a mix of small groups of businessmen and tourists, with a few families like us.

I started with the Liver Tikka. I've never had this before and I would recommend it. Not spicy hot, temperature hot. Wow! For mains, the "handi" was listed as 'just like we have it at home' on the menu so I thought I'd give that a try. I chose lamb instead of chicken. It took about ten minutes (the waiter warned me it would be 15) and I also opted for two chapati to go with it. Again, very hot coming from the kitchen and it had a whole lot of flavor and spice, but it wasn't "hot" spicy just really tasty. Lots of small pieces of lamb in a sauce that is beyond description. Let's just say that it was excellent and the chapati was perfect for scooping. No dessert, but the cold bottle of Kingfisher was perfect (first time in a bottle, it's usually draft). A great meal!

I was able to sink fluids, based on that, I sank quite a few Cobras. Really friendly staff. They did a 4 course for £11.95 ( which includes coffee), pretty good deal. As I wasn't paying I didn't get to see the bill. Highly recommended.
