Strong matcha taste and the right amount of sweetness. I've tried the original matcha and the ube matcha before and both were pretty good. If I'm feeling like drinking coffee, I liked their dirty ube latte! I do prefer my coffee on the sweeter side, so something to keep in mind if you're into darker roasts. Also had their hazelnut latte and that was on the bitter side (for my tastes). We also ordered a matcha cookie the last time we were there and it had a strong matcha taste as well. On the sweeter side though since there was also white chocolate/macadamia bits. Would pair well with an espresso. Would definitely come again (as I have already)! It was aromatic, smooth, and full of warming spices that made my whole body feel cozy. It's the perfect drink for winter. I also appreciated that they let me know ahead of time that sugar wasn't added, so I could adjust the sweetness to my liking. I ordered the pistachio chai, and my friend made sure to get it made with oat milk and let them know twice that I was vegan. However, after steps, I had a terrible allergic reaction when my friend called to check on the ingredients, they mentioned that there was a white chocolate syrup that had dairy in it. If they knew this was in the drink, but my friend had said that I was vegan, why would they not let her know? There is also nothing on their website listing that this drink contains dairy I'm incredibly disappointed because I love to support Local, authentic businesses, especially one that is so close to me. However, they were not diligent in this case, and I almost had to go to the hospital because of it. (swelling in jaw in photos was from the surgery, but the hives and swollen eyes were from the allergic reaction)

As it was late at night (pickup time was 10pm - 11pm) and I didn't want to put too much caffeine into our bodies, I allowed us to have a few tiny sips and then put the rest of the drink into the fridge. We finished it the next morning. The Chicken puffs and Veggie pastry we had for dinner the following day. Overall, even though it wasn't what I had hoped for, I was still very happy with the deal. Great way to try out some of the food there that I might not have thought to try otherwise. The drink was HUGE, probably double the size of what you'd get at any other matcha shop! The most unique thing about this drink was there was literally pistachio bits with every. single. sip. Most places only do the visual sprinkle of pistachio on top so you get maybe 1 or 2 sips with pistchio and that's it.
