He was super sweet. Since they were closing, it was only to go order that that time which we were totally fine with. We got two crunchy tacos both beef, one shredded, one steak/cubed. They came with chips and extra bag of chips on the side as well. They have a salsa bar so I took two of the spiciest salsas to go. I wish I would've taken the other salsa just to taste them as well, but we will come back for sure! We drove home, which is about a little over five minutes away. The tacos were yummy! I liked them both. I asked my husband which one he liked better and he liked them both but he would pick the shredded beef. I honestly thought they were both delicious. I will get them both again. If I had to pick one, maybe the cubed/steak. Really friendly staff and I appreciate that. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was super windy the day we came, so no one was sitting outside. I got the Alex burrito without cheese and sour cream for $13.25. Asked for a recommendation for the meat and was told their al pastor is really good, so I went with that. I liked that they call you as they're making your burrito, so you can customize it further (which kind of salsa, onions and cilantro, do you want it cut in half, etc.). As a picky eater, I really appreciated that. We all got burritos, and one friend paid an extra 3 bucks to make it wet. Chips come on the side, and you can help yourself to salsa at their fresh salsa bar. This is the first taqueria I can remember that has a mild tomato salsa without raw onion and very little cilantro. I was excited to see that finally there's a salsa I can eat. My Alex burrito was one of the best burritos I've had imo. The proportion of meat to beans to rice was perfect and the rice tasted great. The al pastor was amazing: super flavorful and smoky. I usually feel like most burritos taste about the same to me, but I definitely found myself enjoying this one more than usual, which says a lot. Also, they're generously sized here. I wasn't able to finish mine despite my best efforts and packed the last quarter to bring home for dinner. I'd like to end my review by mentioning how polite and friendly everyone was, from the guy taking our order to the guy making the food. I was really impressed by this as well, since taquerias usually aren't exactly known for their service. I can't wait to come back!

One star off because you do have to get a key to go to a bathroom that is outside, but I lucked out and one of their extremely personable employees happened to be walking out on their break and let me in with a key. Bathrooms were clean as could be. Definitely worth the price. You can see the locals all know what's up. It wasn't packed, but definitely a-buzz at dinner time on a Saturday.

My friend and I came Tuesday evening around 6 pm and surprisingly we were the only customers. The inside of the restaurant is bigger than I expected and is beautifully decorated with flowers hanging from the ceiling and even a flower wall. The food menu is a simple one-pager with different Mexican and Vietnamese options. I got a couple tacos as they were only $1.75 each for Taco Tuesday (they're $2.50 normally). Both the chicken and steak were good, but I think I liked the steak a little bit more. My friend got the chicken banh mi for $13. It's a pretty big sandwich and also comes with a side of salad. My friend really liked his banh mi, but I'd say it's definitely more of fusion style. For example, they use aioli instead of mayo. We also got the peach shaved ice for dessert ($12). It's a seasonal flavor as it's not on the menu. However we chose the wrong flavor, as I was disappointed that they used canned peaches instead of fresh ones and honestly it tasted a bit bland (not enough peach flavor).
