Very conveniently located steps from the Vieques ferry terminal. Clean bathrooms! The one waitress was very sweet and bilingual. She handled everything in the front of the restaurant with grace. We had a group of 10 place orders and with one chef, it took some time to prepare our food. But once ready, the food was wonderful! Fried grouper sandwiches in a slightly sweet bun and mofongo and sweet potato fries on the side were a highlight! We also ordered garlic butter chicken, empanadas, chicken quesadillas, arepas con beans, and Caesar salad. Everything was quite delicious. We dined while waiting to board the ferry and saw lots of people entering the waiting area next to the ship. While we were one of the last groups to board, there was still plenty of seating on the 2nd floor of the ship, so don't worry and enjoy a last few moments of Vieques island with good food! read more

Looked for a quick bite near where we were staying. The service was okay, took a little while to get my order, and I had to ask them where my order was. The server told me it would take 20 mins, but they forgot to bring out my order when it was ready (took a total of 40 mins). There are a lot of locals and tourists who were here ordering drinks and food from them while I was there. We ordered a variety of items to try. We got some rice and beans. The beans were delicious, they had pumpkin and peppers in them. Would probably eat this a lot if there was nothing else to eat. Very good umami flavor. Also got some maduros (fried sweet plantains) which were good, a classic fried sweet plantain. We also got the mahi mahi, fried pork chunk, fried pork chop, and arepas. The mahi-mahi was a bit dry and had no flavor. For the Arepas, there was nothing inside of them, but they were served with a side of beans. They were cooked well, similar to a pita but crispier. Went super well when you ate it with the beans. The fried pork chunk & pork chop was fried in oil directly with no breading, sorta crisp outside. The meat was tough but still good, it was seasoned lightly with salt, pepper, and some spices. Came with the standard ketchup mayo sauce. Pretty good with rice & beans combo. I was referred to go there by a local taxi driver so it had to be good. I got the mahi mahi and sweet plantains, both were excellent. It was a good amount of food so you will be full. The fish was juicy, flaky and tender with a blend of salt, spices and garlic. Plantains were your classic sweet and fried. The wait was ~20min with no people in front of me. Wow, we were looking for dinner while waiting for our ferry back to the mainland and stumbled upon this place, which is literally yards from the ferry terminal. We found the food and the service to be amazing and depending on where you sit, there is a halfway decent view of the water. The empanadas were literally among the best we ever had, ever.... The mofongo and pork chunks were simply amazing. The tostones, rice & beans and sweet plantains were also great. The "chicken on the grill" was good, but nothing special. I'm not sure if it was just a matter of wrapping up a perfect day at the beach, where anything would've been great, or if the food was truly just that great, but, regardless, we will definitely be checking this place out again next time we are on the island. read more

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday evening on a recommendation from our hotel manager. The food was delicious!! I had the fish sandwich and rice and beans, and my partner had the Cuban and amarillos (sweet plantains). My sandwich was excellent and the rice and beans were out of this world. My partner said that his sandwich was good too (I didn't taste it), and the plantains were also amazing (I did taste those). We also shared the arepas and beans, not realizing the beans would be the same as the rice and beans, but honestly we were not unhappy to have extra beans to take home since they were so good. It was not crowded at all when we went, so the service was fast. The hostess was lovely and we chatted a bit after dinner. Would definitely recommend if you're in Vieques! read more

By far the WORST meal I had in ALL of Puerto Rico last week. This "restaurant" (if you could even call it that) is located right off the Fajardo-Vieques ferry terminal, which is the ONLY reason that we came to it before the return ferry back to PR mainland. Let's get this out of the way... here is everything terrible about this place in bulleted formats: -no design, generic, plastic, dirty environment -FREEZERS where the guests dine (the protein is all sitting in here and the chef emerges from the dirty @$$ kitchen to grab & go back in) -service is atrocious. the "waitress" never came around & constantly got mad at us for asking questions/requesting unique/special orders. it took FOREVER to get our bill -FOOD IS AWFUL. FROZEN meat. The chicken all tasted like rubber. the pork chops were overly salty, MSG-filled, the salad was from a $1 bag from the grocery store. the cheese was cheap and stale. AWFUL. -Pina Coladas "with rum" for $6 had barely ANY rum... but tasted OK. -sweet plantains were DELICIOUS... quite possibly their saving grace There's also a bar in front, which looked like fun... you can't mess up a Cuba Libre. If you're EVER in this area. JUST COME FOR DRINKS... and sweet plantains... lol read more

The mix of garlic and mashed plantain is rather interesting, yet appealing. We had the pork chops and cubano on our maiden voyage. Chops were cooked to perfect. Tito enjoyed the bone scraps. Portion size of the chops was nearly enough to feed 2. The cubano was everything I could ask for. Meat cut from the bone, fresh melty cheese with spicy, tart dijon. Ask for the Puerto Rican mayo for your fries and mofongo. Definitely a hint back to the Old world, not to mention a killer playlist. read more

I was extremely disappointed in this place, mostly for the horrific service. We were in there for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged by the waitstaff. We ordered drinks and food, and it took another 20 minutes for the drinks to come out. Meanwhile, an annoying group of teenagers blasting a boom box were served drinks and food within minutes. The waitress come to check on them several times but seemed to not realize we existed. When I went up to the bar to pay the bill, she seemed appalled that I would bother her at the bar and not wait for her at our table. The food, meanwhile, when it finally came out, was actually pretty good, which is why I'm not giving this place a 1 star review. We had a chicken sandwich and a quesadilla. Right off the ferry. Not pretty but once you go inside the staff is very friendly. Cheap drinks and the food is good. All freshly caught!

It's good food but very small portions and super overpriced. The $30 seafood mixed dish is barely enough for one person, and the sides are very small. Do not order the fried fish, it was dry and the side salad looks like a garnish. We definitely won't be back, we say this place is a tourist trap. read more
