    Blueberry raspberry kombucha

This was the absolute best vegan meal I have ever had. Granted I had one small plate of croquettes, however it came with homemade bread, a small alfalfa salad with olive oil and salt. I ordered a wonderful blueberry raspberry kombucha as well. The second floor restaurant is spacious, quiet, and airy. Better vegan food than Amy I've ever had in the SF Bay Area.

I absolutely loved this place! We ordered Vegan Croquettes, Vegan Pizza and a Chickpea Tomato Stew and all 3 were perfect! Approved even by the Non-Vegans I dragged along. The Staff was very friendly and the interior lovely and bright! 10/10! :-)

Amazing vegetarian food. We are vegetarians and it has been difficult to find vegetarian food in Spain but this restaurant is a blessing for us. Amazing food at good prices. Everything was awesome. Ambience is amazing. Good place to click pictures also.

My labs vegan bowl (what's left of it) and a new small pal supervising!

They have the standard menu del dia for lunch (a primo and secondi, along with sangria or wine or beer and a postre (dessert)) for around 10 euro. They also have lots of tapas that can be ordered a la carta. If you are vegetarian, you'll be fine. They have a pretty decent number of things for you -- the spinach fajita stands out as an interesting option, featuring thick rounds of a local goat cheese along with quince paste (membrillo) atop flour tortillas. Now, if you're vegan like me... I just hope you like gazpacho. Fortunately, I love it, which is good because I lived on it for about 10 days. The variety served by Piscolabis is quite good (make sure to ask for it "sin jamon" aka with out ham) and the portion is enormous. I also tried their mushroom risotto and a delicious carpaccio of garlicky eggplant. I'm sure it didn't hurt that I was accompanied by a colleague who is a native Catalan and person friend of the owner, but they were very accommodating to my special requests for this or that. YMMV.

Others in the group did not enjoy theirs - but they did not try to get local cuisine. Service was good. On a do over, I'd try something off of the main plaza.

I guess it could be that travel heightens the tastebuds as well as the sensation of caffeine. But this the flavor of the damn things! They are awesome in Spain--when I get back home I'm going to order a Cafe Español and see what happens (read blank stares). But enough about the coffee. I ordered the Avocado Toast and a Veggie Portobello with Soy Mayo. Both were good. The toast the avocado was layered on made Texas Toast look like Rhode Island toast...well maybe Ohio Toast (Texas toast can still be pretty thick). But this slice of pan tostado was a brick. Although it was well toasted and packed a crunch, I'm not referring to the hardness--it's the size I'm referencing. And I'm convinced they put an entire avocado on this thing. Sprinkled with chia and flax it was a plant-based marvel. But the taste award goes to the Veggie Portobello with Soy Mayo. This little beauty was so gorgeous and tasty I called mine Jessica (read my wife). The soy mayo was was treat and with the sun-dried tomatoes and slices of fresh tomatoes cuddling right up with those wonder-inspiring mushrooms, it had to be one of the best things I've had on my trip. For those interested, I came for breakfast on a Monday morning. So it was very quiet, music playing overhead, the swishing swirl of an espresso machine, and the occasional clank of a fork on a plate, and that was it. Old gentlemen came in and sat at the bar. At one point a gentlemen and lady had a slightly ardent discussion of Catalonian politics but then it was ended and the ambient sounds returned. There is a bar and a substantial wine selection. Also there is outdoor seating on the plaza in front which, appears to be for later in the day when it will warm up a bit. If your travel itinerary ever brings you to Lledia, you should let your taste for good vegetarian and vegan options bring you here.

It overlooks the promenade and seafront and has a range of veggie and Vegan options on the menu including a 'Vegan Burger with Chips' which is lovely. Next time we go back we'll try the 'Vegan Goan Curry' which looks great. They have soy milk too and were happy to Vegan-ise drinks that were on the menu e.g. they made us a soy café frappé. The do have 'Vegan Chai Latte' listed too. When we last ate at Red Velvet it coincided with the Sitges Tapas Festival. Every participating cafe and restaurant in the town had submitted one tapas dish which could be purchased for a limited period. Hats off to Red Velvet for submitting the only Vegan entry! Apparently they also have Vegan cakes in the Summer. A shame that they don't do them all year round! A great place for lunch (they only open in the evenings during the Summer season) and highly recommended. Fantastic, friendly service too

White and grisblue combined perfectly, the polished slate coloured concrete floor and the Eames chairs give the place a contemporary feel. The tables, counter and wooden balustrade add the 'rustic-ness'. It's very inviting. The restaurant has a small menu (which I think is how it's supposed to be) with vegetarian, gluten free and organic options. There are also dishes that change and are not on the menu. During our visit I've seen several orders for other guests pass by our table that caught my eye! The amuse bouche was very nice. Had one of the organic salads with red beetroot and as main course the chicken teriyaki. Both were very nice. Only thing for me was that the portion was a bit on the small size, partly probably because I didn't eat the rice due to my low carb diet. I was seriously considering having one of the dishes not on the menu: tower of grilled vegetables with a slice of goats cheese on top; it looked so nice every time it passed by our table (-: As a special treat I had a super nice chocolate chip cookie. The texture was just perfect! Extra nice as it was my only carb treat this month. Of course I will have to mention the special display with an assortment of cakes, cookies and cupcakes (also gluten free options). Very, very tempting! Espresso is 100% ecologically grown and the tea organic. All in all the diner experience was very nice. Not at all like most of the tourist oriented places a place like Sitges is obviously littered with. A nice place to relax and enjoy some responsible food!
