After a bad fall I required a stay in a rehab facility and landed in Paris, TN. After discharge we decided to grab some lunch before we left town. We decided on Mexican and El Vallarta was close by. It was the best decision ever! The atomosphere was inviting, inside and out. When trying a new Mexican place for the first time, I order either shrimp diablo or chili Colorado. I went with the chili and it was terrific. I'd never had it with mushrooms before, and that little addition to the dish added something I didn't know was missing from all the other chili I'd had in other restaurants. The flavor was one I don't think could ever be improved upon. My buddy was surprised to find pasta shrimp alfredo on the menu and was so intrigued he decided to try it. He loved it. This was my first time in Paris, TN, and now I have reason to drive an hour and a half to visit again. El Vallarta is worth the trip and is a destination in and of itself! read more

We legit drive 2 hours out of the way just to enjoy the Sunday buffet. Have yet to have a bad experience here. Keep up the good work y'all!!

My husband and I had some of the best Mexican food we've had in sometime. Husband had the fajitas and I had the taco salad. Both were excellent, inexpensive and lots of food. Had the two for one margaritas at lunchtime since on vacation and they hit the spot. Service was excellent and quick. Not very good food the food is made in large batches and sits for days tried to order shredded burrito without onions in it couldn't do it because they don't make it to order they make it in giant batches and it sits for a long time that's why you can't get it made to order and it taste that way the place is just not good beautiful place looks like it would be good always seems to be busy apparently Paris is happy with poor Mexican restaurants this one is one of the worst read more

If you HAVE to have Mexican food and can't leave Paris, I guess it would do. We ate here a couple of weeks ago. Our food was very good! And the drinks were amazing. I'm really glad that El Vallarta's has the bar area for those of us on date nights that want to have a more adult environment. And it's also a great way for us to learn about new drinks. Food was ok but waiter was awfull. Could have cared less. Refilled my stepson and husband's drinks and brought them back with food on one of the straws and no idea who's was whos. Asked for new ones and he got upset. He went to clear our plates and I wasn't done. So after getting my son's he reached over my shoulder and got my husbands. Arm in my food and all. He seemed like he didn't have time for us. Noone cared when I complained. Won't be back. read more
