We wanted something different and this place filled the bill. Why get the usual burger when you can have something new and delicious!!!

Ok this has to be my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I loved the food so much. Alfredo was my…read moreserver and he had the best recommendation and I loved it. The empanada came LOADED with shredded beef and this empanada didn't skimp out on quality. It tastes so good when you dip it with the green sauce and it was chef's kiss. I think this is the best empanada I ever had and when I tried other empanada, it doesn't even compare to this. I ordered another dish but I forgot the name and it's soo good. I was a little disappointed because the menu said pick 3 sides and I chose all beef. Alfredo didn't mention to me that there would be an additional charge for the beef. As a result, I had to pay an additional $10 which was very pricey and didn't find out until I received my bill and saw the charge. I didn't make any complaints because the employees seem not to speak English well and it's hard to be a foreigner trying to adapt to the culture and the language. But this is soo good and I can see why the reviews on yelp are all stellar.

I live close, so have come here quite a bit over the year…read more Pro- Just got renovated, so it looks pretty. The staff is nice, and the food is good. They also have lunch specials, which is nice. Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. And last but not least, I think their prices are not reasonable lately. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

Burger came out first,y husband could finish his sandwich and then my arepa came. Tip for the owner: if one dish is faster then the other, start preparing the one that takes longer first, and then serve both plates together. $19 for a burger tasting a lot of fat and the probably that was dry. Arepa was ok, but you can choose between fried or baked, not grilled, never saw this.

If it's gratuity, label it gratuity!! This is a deceptive and illegal practice as it's not noted on the menu that parties of one or more automatically get a 12, or maybe 18% gratuity added. I usually tip 20% so I'd say I saved money, but since it was labeled "service fee" I didn't know if the server that helped me got any of it - so I rounded to up to $40. Effectively $10 tip on a $30 tab. Horrible business practice!! Food is on point though. They have a 12% undocumented "service fee". I was a single diner that ate there. That's some straight up BS. I would have done 5 or even 6 stars if it wasn't for the service fee. If it wasn't for that, I would be here 3-4 times a week if I lived over here!!! This menu is big and delicious. The food was fantastic. The staff was great and tried to accommodate English as much as I tried not to butcher Spanish.
