This may be my new favorite local Mexican restaurant. A friend took my mother to this location…read morerecently and she came back raving about it so I decided to take my son and his friend here as well. It is located in Haines city off of 1792. There is a private parking lot and a homemade ice cream shop right next-door if you want dessert. Upon entering, we were promptly seated. We went on a Saturday night about 6 o'clock, so it was pretty busy, but our service was still good. There was also live music on Saturday night, but my son who is usually squeamish with loud noises, didn't seem bothered by the music as it wasn't that loud and it was quite pleasant. The chips here are homemade and a little bit different than at most places, but we all really enjoyed them. I really enjoyed the salsa and my child could not get enough of the queso dip. They did not have a kids menu, but they offered a Kids quesadilla option which is what we got the kids. My son ate all of his quesadilla and all of the queso plus his side of Rice and talked about this restaurant for two days. So it was a huge hit with him. I had a combination plate that came with an enchilada and a flauta. Both were excellent and I really enjoyed them. I especially liked the cheese sauce on the chicken enchilada. My friend had the chimichanga and really enjoyed it too. Our entrées were served with rice, beans, and a small salad. We had a great meal and will definitely be back
