I thought the pupusa was disgusting. Way too oily, flavorless, and didn't taste fresh. So many other options - skip this one.

Plain white rice, pinto beans were ok, very sub-par yellow cheese sauce and guac on very small enchiladas. Will pass next time.

I stuck to the late night happy hour menu and ordered the Frito pie. It was REALLY good. The portion was smaller than I expected, so I'd definitely order two next time. I nibbled on my wife's shrimp fajita and it was delicious. The drinks were very nice. I ordered the spicy margarita and it was delicious. The ambiance is warm and cozy. It's not a large space, but I did not feel cramped. There is an outdoor heated seating area as well.

However, the waitress was excellent with providing order recommendations and ensuring that we were taken care of. Drinks: I ordered the ranch water which wasn't anything spectacular. Just a simple non-sugary drink to enjoy while dining. I opted out of the fajitas but the rest of my party loved the steak and shrimp fajitas, which were part of the fajitas 2 deal. Plenty to share and I heard that the steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was seasoned well. I ordered the taco salad and that dish was PHENOMENAL! There is something to be said about a wet salad which manages to hold some crunchy texture to the taco strips. Also, it was perfectly chopped and all ingredients were mixed together so well. To complete the dish, I ordered a side of rice and chicken. Both were delicious but the chicken portion could use some work. Overall I'm curious to try their breakfast tacos so count me in on returning! They also offer a great happy hour so I recommend stopping by to enjoy their bar or even their cute outdoor seating.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

Another food runner immediately brought us water and chips and salsa. The salsa tasted a little bland and felt like it was missing some salt or some other seasoning/ingredient. We ordered another round but it was about the same. The chips were great. The seafood enchiladas I ordered were flavorful and there was a great spread of guacamole, sour cream, beans and rice. The plates were served hot and the kitchen had the good come out quite quickly which was appreciated. We'll be back!

It was a massive plate as were the shrimp. Those were honestly my favorite. The bacon was chrisp and the shrimp moist and succulent. They were over cooked but in all fairness. The bacon needed to be crippling, which is was and the plate it hot so it continues to cook. They were still my favorite. #BaconEverything The steak was supposed to be medium but I didn't mind that it was medium well. It was a great cut however the seasoning was lacking. It came with the traditional toppings but I opted for sour cream on the side. I love a good resturant grade salas but theirs is flat. It needed some more seasoning. The port was ample and enough for 2 of us to share. The tortillas are almost like gorditas or papoosas they're so big. I had to cut mine. I didn't love it but didn't hate it either. Its definitely for a croud that wants Main stream Texmex. I love authentic with a Tia in the kitchen and abuela giving orders. It was packed for a Saturday but we ate outside. The resturant has more than enough room. Its pretty open for group seats. I didn't get a drink but they looked great.

My favorite is the Salmon A La Parrilla - grilled salmon, topped with sautéed shrimp, avocados, in a light marisco sauce. The steak dishes such as steak fajitas feature tender steak cooked medium rare, not over cooked or burned to a crisp as in many Mexican restaurants. The service is always friendly and prompt. All of their drinks are on point. Not the place for a quiet or intimate dinner, so keep that in mind. This is a very busy and popular place so reservations are highly recommended. Give it a try...I'm sure that you will enjoy it.

When you enter the restaurant, you can either order at the kiosk or the register. The menu is extensive, but I doubt there isn't something on the menu you'd like. After placing your order, you sit at one of the dining tables in the large dining area, and a staff member brings your food out to you when it's ready. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken fajita taco and a bacon egg and cheese taco - yes, they serve breakfast items all day - and shared some queso and chips. As expected, the tacos were delicious, fresh and flavorful. The queso is one of my favorite things on the menu. If you're in the area and want to try some unique tacos, definitely try out Torchy's!

The staff was friendly and gave some suggestions, but the service is mostly you doing things. The food was good, nothing amazing but pretty good! Good portions of meat and interesting flavors that work together. The steak was tender enough and the chicken was good. The only thing I would suggest would be a heated up tortilla and meltier cheese on top. Overall most of them were pretty decent! 3.5/5 Chips and sampler was good! I do like the chips tasted freshly made and the guacamole and salsa were great! The queso was decent not my favorite, but it was a good addition to the trio. 4/5 Overall, this place is better than Taco Bamba and what I would compare it to with thier similar fusion flavors. I'd go back and try some more things!
