We have patronized this restaurant since 2021. The food quality, portions have decreased, and the prices has increased! The last visit was on July 3rd, 2026 and the price was high and the food was dry, and tasted reheated, mediocre and small portions. Do you folks even taste your own food? The wait staff has always been exceptional, and the atmosphere is festive. That being said, it is not enough to bait me back to have an over priced, substandard meal. I had the Guiso Rojo and my lunch partner had the Lunch Carnitas served Cavillo style. The guiso was very tasty but not as spicy as others I have had. That being said it's really good and a nice spice level for those who do not like it very hot. The Carnitas my lunch buddy said were a little dry but good. Chips, Salsa, and Queso is the "free" setup with the food. The salsas is delicious with a nice mild spice and the queso pretty good with little chunks of jalapeño. The only issue I have was with the service as our waitress had zero personality, she wasn't rude, but just very informal. She wasn't very attentive and ran out of water. This food is very over priced and very mediocre. I ordered the nachos with chicken, it was a very small plate of nachos for $16! Not worth the price at all. Hubby enjoyed his tacos but he's been sick in the bathroom since we got home so he said he won't be returning. My daughter's chicken quesadilla wasn't appetizing. Paid $70 after tip for mediocre food and left still hungry. Our chips were never refilled, didn't check on us til the meal was over, just not worth it to me. read more

One of those places you almost don't want to talk about because it's that good. This local Mexican spot never misses. Food's always fresh, flavorful, and stacked with options -- no matter who you bring, everyone leaves happy. The salsa? I'd drink it if that wasn't frowned upon in public. It's that legit. The staff's dialed in too -- they somehow remember us every time, which makes it feel less like dining out and more like coming back home (if home had margaritas this good). Hard to beat it. My wife and I have frequented this place for several years since moving to Newcastle. We love their fajita chicken! Servers have always been very attentive and know our orders almost by heart at this point. I bring my family and friends here when they visit. We love this place! We ordered street tacos two dinners. One dinner came with a lot of meat on the tacos and the other dinner barely had any meat on it. We asked for some extra meat because the serving was not very much. They refused to give us any and then they told us that if we weren't happy and took the plateaway and put it and threw it in the trash. They were very rude about it.!! read more
