You order and pay at the counter and they will bring your food to your table. This location is most convenient to my in-laws home, so we stop here at least once every time we visit. We were here at least four times over our most recent trip. Why? The location is convenient. The service is fast and efficient. The price point is budget friendly. And, most important, the food is great. Favorites include the tacos and burritos with either steak or chorizo. This week we were offered tacos in either American or Mexican style, so we tried out both versions. The Mexican version is protein, onion and cilantro. The American version has lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and sour cream added. My husband prefers the Mexican version but I enjoyed ordering some of each for variety. We like adding the salsa to our food. We agree with other reviewers that it has a nice amount of heat. I would suggest you sample a small amount before you decide how much to use. We're huge fans!

As far as fast food style tacos go, however, they can't be beat. I always go for the crispy beef taco. I like the hood garlic flavor their beef has. I also always go for the guac. So often, in fact, that the owner has referred to me as "The Guac Guy" a time or two. Beyond serving up quick, cheap, and relatively large tacos, Taco Town has some of the best customer service you will find at a fast food spot. The owner always greets you with a smile, an upbeat energy, and a can do attitude. If you have a problem or a strange request, they will do all they can to make sure you end your visit satisfied. Overall, they're a great and unique business that I will continue to support so long as they stick around.

I settled into a $6 steak burrito on the go. Do they have cilantro? Nope, don't bother asking. Would I like hot sauce? Absolutely. It was a condiment soy sauce looking packet that said "hot sauce" and looked like a watery Tabasco. I unroll my burrito from the foil. Opened burrito to put on Tabasco and the yellow cheese wasn't even melted or close to melting. The refried beans were nothing special. La Preferida probably has more taste to it. The steak was so-so and not too hot. Overall, these things are what I would expect in a solid burrito. I knew I should have went to Taco Burrito Mexico as soon as I heard "no cilantro"!
