A little salty, but the mussels themselves were good quality and it came with bread for dipping. For the main, I had the rigatoni with chicken, which had a somewhat similar sauce with great flavors. Both dishes showed some real creativity in the kitchen. But what really sets R Wine Bar & Kitchen apart is the environment. This place has a vibe. I ended up meeting some cool people traveling through from Tennessee and had some of the best conversations I've had at a bar. Really friendly people all around. That kind of atmosphere can't be manufactured. The Verdict: R Wine Bar & Kitchen is the real deal.
