Pros: Excellent fish fajitas- came with grilled tilapia and grilled shrimp. Lots of tasty food, very filling dish. Hubby had camarones de mojo ajo. Good but preferred fajitas. Fries were extra crispy. Lemonade tasty. Chips and salsa good. Flour tortillas tastier than corn imo. Cons: Children's nachos were greasy, children's burger more bun than meat. Sweet tea very weak, just sugar water. Horchata thin and too sugary. Comments: kids say the mints taste like Pina Colada. Would come again. read more

OUTSTANDING chile verde!!! My hubby & I went for a day drive via back roads, small towns & ended up in Ardmore. Used yelp for a restaurant & decided on this wonderful place. The salsa is great....would love to have the recipe but the chile verde is to die for. I'd drive from OKC to Ardmore anytime for this dinner. We had two orders of fajitas. Both were burnt black. They make their own tortillas, but ours were hard.

We stopped here after looking at a review on Yelp. I apparently did not look at enough reviews. One person said how good the white queso was and that was it in my opinion. I am a Mexican food lover being from Texas, but I don't know where this "Mexican food" came from. I will judge a Mexican restaurant immediately by their salsa especially since that is the first thing you eat. Tasted just like Pace Picante Sauce. So I ordered the white queso...very good. Ordered chicken fajita quesadilla and beef/chicken fajitas for the family...no seasonings at all. It tasted like they just threw some chicken on a grill with oil and put it in a tortilla. Beef had no flavor and was chewy. Also concerned about how dark the place is. I think they keep it dark to cover up the dirt. Blinds very dusty with stuff splattered on them and the walls. I looked over to see my son eating some refried beans on his hand. We hadn't ordered any refried beans...they were on the side of the table. Then I looked around and saw salsa stuck to the sides of the table next to us too! Service was slow. Very bad experience overall. Will never return even for the excellent white queso. read more

A very Americanized version of Mexican food. Most everything is covered in melted cheese and will be swimming in grease. Good fast service, but the waiters seemed to give my teen daughter too much (unwanted) stares and ogles. I cannot eat there without getting intestinal distress - I guess from all the grease or lard. read more

We stopped at this restaurant after reading the good Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience and wonder if the Yelpers that left a positive review ate at the same place we did! We arrived shortly after lunch time (about 2 pm) and there were three tables occupied. We stood at the entrance to the dining area for more than 5 minutes but we were never acknowledge by any of the passing staff. I finally was able to get one of their attention and asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves. The older guy (that looked like he may be in charge) grabbed two menus and sat us at a booth outside the kitchen and not far from the bathrooms. Bad vibe from him. We should have left at that point. The bathrooms stunk or at least someone needed to do a courtesy flush...but we were tired and hungry, so we stayed. The waiter was a young guy that obviously hated his job...as did the other employees. I couldn't understand what the staff were saying, but it was obvious that none of them were getting along and they were paying their anger forward onto their customers. We ordered basic Mexican food...enchiladas with rice and beans. The food was flavorless. The salsa tasted just like a can of smashed tomatoes in a bowl. The queso was okay, but very watery...like they were at the end of it and trying to make it go further. Very disappointing and we won't be back. read more

Don't listen to the vegetarian--EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. There are MULTIPLE vegetarian meals offered, but when you custom make anything at a restaurant--it will ALWAYS be an up charge. That is standard in every restaurant. No disrespect to the beautiful woman whom didn't like this place--to each their own. BUT AGAIN---- IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! You wouldn't think much of this place from the outside or the decor, but the food is good. This place is great when you don't have a lot of time for lunch. The service and food are both faster than you would expect, especially for something cooked once you order. They serve Pepsi products and the food is very affordable!
