The tacos are amazing out of this world I don't what makes them this good 100% recommend

I have tried this place multiple times, have never had a memorable experience until now.. A. Food is good B. Service is not, not even friendly seems she only smiles at those she likes. I won't purchasable anything form this business again! Why? I've noticed they over charged me, I called the next day and confirmed it. Who knows how many times they have over charged me in the past. I tried to find them with the BBB and of course they are not registered.. Then I started to think about reviews and guess what I found out? I am not the only one this has had happen to recently or in the past! As I said I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO taco el maestro or any of their other locations! Really enjoyed the tacos! Not too big, not too small, just the right size with very tasty salsa! I had tacos al pastor without pineapple and carne asada. They were fast, efficient, and delicious all you can ask for from a taco truck! It's a bit of a drive for me, but it was worth it! read more

The service was nothing special, the parking lot was completely empty and for it being dinner time that's not a good sign. I got a quesadilla and it was posted for $11 even though she charged me $12.50. Which doesn't make any sense for it being a food truck. The food was not great. I would give it a two out of 10. Half of my quesadilla was missing so they serve half a plate and the other plate was veggies which is honestly a rip off. How are you gonna give me half of my ordered food? There's another food truck by the McDonald's down the road and they give a full plate of quesadillas so I'm honestly just gonna go there instead. read more

These are tacos Al Pastor, they are delicious, they have the right amount of heat, the chile is not overpowering, and adding the limón it brings out the pork flavor even more. It's worth telling the flavor of this plate, I'll ask you to come and try it. Very important 3 tacos and a can of soda is less than $10.00, here in Seattle this is a bargain!!! Honestly this was an amazing taco truck back in the day! But it has fallen or couldn't keep up with the taco trucks around the area. For the price point I was expecting something good or great but was disappointed. Ordered tacos and burritos (asada and lengua) meat was bland on both and the burrito was put together with no care. (Wasn't even wrapped all the way) just overall bad meal for a taco truck that was legit back in the day. Super meh right now and for the price $11 for asada burrito and $13 for lengua as well as $2.50 a taco extra for lengua this truck will definitely not get return business from me! Probably the best one on the block of pac hwy in tukwila (and there's at least 4 within a 1 mile radius). I've been going here for years and because it's not too far, it's always easy to just buy tacos for dinner and call it a night! They are super quick and this place DOES get busy. $1.75 per taco is decent IMO. The green sauce is spicy and the red sauce is fire (literally) but super tasty! Their burritos are HUGE and worth the price we pay for. No complaints for this place.. maybe I'll have tacos again tomorrow lol read more

This is the go-to Taco Truck near my house! Their best thing to get are the carne asada (beef) tacos - they make it very well and it has a great flavor. I also really like the tripe. There's lots of meat in it and it's easy to eat somehow. I have also tried the other ones like the chicken, very tasty as well. The quesadillas are also pretty good! It's VERY filling. 3-4 tacos is a good portion for me, lately I always get 4 because they are so delicious. With the tacos comes radishes like always, a lime, hot sauce (I like the green one), and a spicy poppin pepper. We also get our tacos pretty quick. The mulitas are like deep fried quesadillas and it is DELCIOUS! I would suggest using cash here since you get charged extra with card, and you have to walk to the store across the parking lot to pay and then go back to get your order. The store has all kinds of Mexican candy I love though, like tamarind candy and the spicy mango and watermelon pops. read more

Like Sui said, the menu is VERY limited, you get your choice of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and I think thats it, but you get several options for meat choices like carne asada (beef steak), chicken, cheek, lengua, tripa, etc. They have a good variety of drinks to go with your meal too, juices, sodas, water, etc. Also if you dont have cash with you, you can order your meal, they will tell you the price you go inside Javi's Mexi Grocery right behind you and pay for your meal with a debit or credit card, with a small fee of course and show your receipt to the taco truck and TA DA!!! You got your meal. What I love about this taco truck is how yummy the carne asada tacos and quesadillas are there, I do not know what they marinate the meat with but its absolutely mouth watering and I think its very cheap. My husband has a huge appetite and I have a regular appetite, he will have 6 tacos while I have 4 and a asada quesadilla and it will be under $20! Pretty cheap to me considering how delicious and quick you get these. Definitely try it, I recommend their Carne Asada tacos/quesadilla or the Tripa Tacos (intestine tacos) mmm.... only downfall would be the salsa roja, the red salsa, I dont like it that much, it tastes too watered down, but the salsa verde , green salsa is yummy and good flavored. read more

Ordered a bean and cheese because I'm from down south if they can cook the beans right then it's a greater chance it's a good shop and will try something else.. they couldn't speak English so I spoke to them in Spanish and asked bean and cheese.. they kept asking to make sure because apparently they are shocked by that.. I said if you want to let me sample the beans I'll order more food right now if it's good.. they charged me 5.50 for just the bean and cheese burrito which told me they are not confident. They gave me the bag after 2 minutes and I looked inside they couldn't roll it right and it was the size of a Taco Bell burrito.. the beans where warm and cheese was frozen... beans where good flavor just a bit more salt but I would not come here if you like adult food survey at the right temperature. The place looked ran down the photos looked like a lie at that point. I thought it was the taco shop in the other lot down the street by the gas station. So after being disappointed I left and went to the other one. I was disappointed again because they used the wrong beans! So I got tacos instead I pretty much spent a hour doing this experience the tacos I ordered was carnitas and Al pastor total of 6 at 2.25 each 15.50 after tax.. I was happy with the food there flavor is great as well 6 tacos will definitely make you full.. that burrito from this place had potential and has better beans then a lot of other places but I think because I'm female or because I didn't buy something with meat for good profit as they seem to be struggling they lost a customer because the portion was a insult for the price and if they would have let me sample the beans (thank god they didn't) I would have spent 28 bucks on food there.. So as I said go at your own expense it's risky with a dirty shack (I didn't smell septic like some places so I felt safe) but I wanted to give it a shot but got over priced cold/frozen food cheese was like a pinch didn't even taste it wasn't melted and they used the white cheese that Washington taco shops like to use (bad cheese choice) but they have good beans but after the insult of size I can't say if anything else is good or that I'd be back.. Yeah I was referred to this place by a friend and was severely disappointed . It wasn't the customer service but it was definitely the food I got a burrito - carne asada to be exact and wasn't impressed . The salsa verde they gave me was overly hot and not flavorful and the prices weren't listed so it was a suprise That this burrito cost me 8?! Seems like a rip off considering the food was done in like .5 seconds and was hot but not memorable besides the stomach ache I got later . The lettuce on the burrito was warm which makes sense on a piping hot burrito . I'd rather hit up a chipotle plus they charge extra to make the meat crispier and the meat itself wasn't even like high quality carne asada either . I really wanted to be excited but between the pricing and the pigeons I was kind of grossed out . Hopefully they improve taste wise and quality wise . I always order my tacos with no onions and the lady is always super rude to me because I'm not a native Spanish speaker but I try. She rolls her eyes and looks down on me when I mispronounce something. If we were in Mexico I could understand but I'm being nice trying to speak Spanish were English is spoken. I forgot to say no onions and she said "that's your problem/fault not mine. I can't give you your money back". I am pregnant and she knows this and I didn't even touch them. They guy before me literally ordered them with onions (3 like mine) and she could've given them to him but instead she wanted to be ugly. Never coming back again, not worth the lack of respect. Cammilo the owner catered in to our fire station last night for an on shift dinner. My captain of most of my career is retiring so we brought in carne asada and chicken street tacos. We had 100 tacos brought in with fresh guacamole, rice, beans, and fresh salsa for the entire shift of fire fighters. The food was delicious. Cammilo delivered it himself. It was perfect. We are having them cater another event coming up. Great street tacos but the salsa and guacamole set it off. Very nice people also. Thank you for catering our retirement shift dinner for ken. When you drive by at lunch you will see the place always has a line of locals including a few police officers and firefighters. If you want a hint, if you see the police and fire department eating someplace, it is good. read more

This is hands down the best taco truck EVA! I don't know how they do what they do when they do, but baaabbbbyyyy they puts it down. In the south we would say that put they toes in it. Although I hope they don't, they definitely put their heart in it. DELISH...there are only 4 options, tacos, burrito, quesadilla or a torta and lots of meat options. At the time of my writing, only 4 reviews are on Yelp for El Taco Maestro. Four! I've been eating here since 2001, and hundreds of others have been too, and yet only 4 reviews are on Yelp. It's crazy, but El Taco Maestro doesn't depend on the Yelp crowd, they stay fairly busy as it is. They are my favorite taco truck in the Seattle area, and I've been keeping it a secret too long. I am particularly fond of Azada tacos and Adobado Tortas (Adobado is marinated pork). What makes this place stand out is their marinade, it is excellent for both Azada and Adobado. You can also get Lengua, Sesos, and Tripas here, and in addition to Tacos and Tortas you can get Burritos and Quesadillas. When you order multiple tacos, they'll give you grilled onions and jalapenos, which are both great. Tacos are served with radish, cilantro, and a lime wedge. The next time you go to the airport, make a stop here, and load up on delicious, affordable Mexican food! It's not good to fly hungry, and this food beats expensive airport food. read more

Their ingredients are always fresh and their meats are prepared at Javi's Mexi Mart next door which accepts debit/credit cards for your meal if you don't bring cash to pay at the truck. Unlike most places that often make ok tacos, this place made them perfect!
