Back again! I seriously love this place. Was craving some good meat for dinner & luckily this place stays open late. I got the 5 count mini corn tacos with pastor. Instead of the usual drive-thru we dined inside & they still had the salsa bar out. Tables were clean, chairs were clean. The guy who took our order was friendly & they were quick to give us our food. They have free water but if you want to pay extra for bottled they have that as well. Comes with grilled onions and chilis on the side. FYI the grilled chili is super spicy! Came to this place as I wanted a taco place near my appointment. Looked at their website and it looked good. My son wanted soft tacos so we stopped there. My son ordered 3 flour tacos with beef, cheese, and sour cream only. I ordered a cheese quesadilla. When we got our food, my son got 3 street mini tacos not the normal size flour tacos and the sour cream looked and tasted like skim milk. He took one bite and asked me if I could trade with him since he did not like his tacos. He ate my cheese quesadilla and I only ate the half he took a bite off. I could not eat the rest because the cheese wasn't melted and the their version of sour cream is watery milk, basically. We ate what we could and threw away the rest. Had a strong craving for quesadillas but there are not many options in the Stone Oak area that offer a hearty quesadilla that will truly satisfy you. Decided to check this place out based on a number of reviews raving about the impossible quesadilla & it most certainly did not disappoint!! We went through the drive thru which was a major plus because we were having one of those 'lets run out in our pjs looking kinda crazy type of nights.' We ordered the double impossible quesadilla and 4 flour mini tacos - 2 chicken, 1 pastor & 1 carnitas. We each ate a quesadilla and I personally struggled to finish it because I was so full but forced it down anyway because it was that delicious. The quesadilla was stuffed with a healthy portion of meat and cheese that was cooked perfectly and 110% satisfied my craving. I only managed to nibble small bites of the meat from each mini taco just to try it & the carnitas and pastor were yummy but the chicken was very dry. That was the only disappointment of our meal but something they could easily fix if they wanted to. Regardless, my boyfriend did not let any food go to waste and enjoyed these enough to say he'd order them again. They included a generous amount of sauces, limes, onions & cilantro which perfectly complimented our meal. Their salsa verde was delicious and we tore through everything they gave us. There was a wait for our food which was completely ok by me because that means it's being made fresh. Sure enough, when we got home, everything was still hot. I was delighted to see that nothing got soggy either as I've definitely experienced a number of oily/greasy tacos in SA. After two solid days of thanksgiving food we needed a break. Thank goodness Yelp directed us to this little gem tucked away next to a cleaner. We would never have found this place if we didn't know where to look. Following the recommendations posted by others, we had the costra. We chose the al pastor for our meat. We also had the chicken street tacos. The meat was well seasoned and the corn tortillas had a nice texture. The tacos had no other toppings but the ample salsa bar had onion, cilantro, pineapple, and a variety of salsas. The costra was the best part of the meal, and I would highly recommend it for your first meal here. The Mexican Coke was a nice touch... gotta love the real sugar! We have recommended this spot to our family who lives locally... and we certainly will plan on coming back during our next trip to San Antonio. read more

Let me preface by saying the food looks so good I forgot to take a picture I had the 10" quesadilla with Al Pastor and they are not stingy with the meat. The only place I've ever been to where they let you put as much pineapple as you want on an al pastor I was shocked. I also got a topo Chico and a chocolate Tres leches cake all this came out to under $20. The service was amazing super friendly, no rush smiling I didn't get the man's name. He was very kind. He happily explained the menu to me and offered some recommendations. Very cozy spot easy to miss, but please try it. They even have a drive-through inside was super clean bathroom super clean everything worked, everything was stocked and everything was fresh. Definitely gonna be getting my tacos from here on out. Incredibly packages meal. I did not have to select any salsas or the onions, cilantro, and lime. They packaged it all and it gave such great variety to choose from. It was taco truck food that fell way short. I really wanted tomatoes or guac or sour cream or something to provide moisture, but these were not options here. There is salsa toppings bar, but they didn't have a red mild-medium salsa as an option. Why is a supposed authentic Mexican place using mozzarella cheese?!!
