    Soft tacos

Came to this place as I wanted a taco place near my appointment. Looked at their website and it looked good. My son wanted soft tacos so we stopped there. My son ordered 3 flour tacos with beef, cheese, and sour cream only. I ordered a cheese quesadilla. When we got our food, my son got 3 street mini tacos not the normal size flour tacos and the sour cream looked and tasted like skim milk. He took one bite and asked me if I could trade with him since he did not like his tacos. He ate my cheese quesadilla and I only ate the half he took a bite off. I could not eat the rest because the cheese wasn't melted and the their version of sour cream is watery milk, basically. We ate what we could and threw away the rest. Not really impressed with this place and hardly think we'll come back. Clean dine-in Only one handicap parking by the entrance.

Hands down I don't think I've ever found a better Mexican restaurant. The staff always makes us feel welcome, the food is always fresh and delicious. The ambience in the restaurant is always above par. Will always pick El Taco!!

If you get frustrated living in Stone Oak because all the good taco joints are on the other side of town, quit moping around and get your butt to El Taco Grill. I got the Impossible Quesadilla and was asked at the drive through if I wanted a double. I couldn't resist so I ended up with 2 big quesadillas. I was one happy fat kid! They have a number of salsas and sauces to choose from and they are all good. This place is at the top of my list for solid Mexican food! Follow me on IG @cheatday_sa

If you are a foodie, come here. This place was ridiculously delicious. Although it's a little bit of a dive, the owner and staff could not have been more friendly. The food...oh my god. The food. I'm not going to lie...I am someone who frequently dreams about Mexican street food, and this place did NOT disappoint. I grew up in Texas, eating from Mexican food trucks, and this place is 100% up to my Mexican streetfood standards. The costra is pure foodie heaven, and the steak had SO MUCH flavor. The table of salsas and condiments was also a welcoming sight. There were many fun salsas to try, in addition to classic pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, lime wedges, and more. I love this place. I plan on coming back again and again.

El Taco is in my top 5 places to eat in San Antonio. It's just a little place with big flavor food! Service is always great, it's clean and fast! They are open for many hours so when the urge for tacos hits, they will be open! Everything on the menu is so good!

Excellent service and delicious tacos. I love that they had a outdoor patio, indoor dining, and a drive through!Highly recommend!

Had a strong craving for quesadillas but there are not many options in the Stone Oak area that offer a hearty quesadilla that will truly satisfy you. Decided to check this place out based on a number of reviews raving about the impossible quesadilla & it most certainly did not disappoint!! We went through the drive thru which was a major plus because we were having one of those 'lets run out in our pjs looking kinda crazy type of nights.' We ordered the double impossible quesadilla and 4 flour mini tacos - 2 chicken, 1 pastor & 1 carnitas. We each ate a quesadilla and I personally struggled to finish it because I was so full but forced it down anyway because it was that delicious. The quesadilla was stuffed with a healthy portion of meat and cheese that was cooked perfectly and 110% satisfied my craving. I only managed to nibble small bites of the meat from each mini taco just to try it & the carnitas and pastor were yummy but the chicken was very dry. That was the only disappointment of our meal but something they could easily fix if they wanted to. Regardless, my boyfriend did not let any food go to waste and enjoyed these enough to say he'd order them again. They included a generous amount of sauces, limes, onions & cilantro which perfectly complimented our meal. Their salsa verde was delicious and we tore through everything they gave us. There was a wait for our food which was completely ok by me because that means it's being made fresh. Sure enough, when we got home, everything was still hot. I was delighted to see that nothing got soggy either as I've definitely experienced a number of oily/greasy tacos in SA. This will definitely be our new go to spot when we are looking for some tacos & quesadillas. Check em out!

I went to El Taco Grill recently and it was pretty good! The only thing I wish, was for them to add more meat to the tacos. I felt like it was missing meat. Also, to have a spicier salsa option. The tacos were good, the tortilla wasn't crunchy or soggy, it was perfect! The Torta was so filling! I recommend it with fajita or al pastor! Their agua Frescas are so refreshing, and they did not taste like they were powdered! I'd definitely go back!

I ordered a torta and it was so delicious. My picture does not do it justice. The asada was very tasty and paired extremely well with the fresh avocado, cream, and cheese. The portions are huge and well worth the price. They also have a drive through and are open late, so super convenient all around. I highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. It's right next to a dry cleaners and you really can't see it unless you are looking for it. We decided to try it out and I was not disappointed. Authentic Northern Mexican food for all comforts. Everyone who ordered in our family enjoyed their meal. Good sized proportion and not holding back on the meat. Well seasoned and full of flavor. I would have never through that we would have a gem like this nested in Stone oak area. I suggest to give them a shot, you will not be disappointed.

I love that there is a drive thru and this has very convenient hours. The food, salsa and condiments are good! The employee was friendly, fast and and the store looked clean.

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
