    Beef Taco - Hard (3)
    Vicky P.

Ordered delivery. Food was cold by the time it arrived (they're 1 mile down the road.) The 3 Beef Tacos - Hard were soggy and lacked seasoning. I ate it using tortilla chips and a fork. I was glad I ordered extra salsa as it was the only saving grace taste-wise. I added it to the refried beans and the Taquitos Mexicanos as well for flavoring. I feel it's overpriced and definitely not worth it. Won't be ordering from them again.

This place absolutely surprised us, not only was the salsa amazing seasoned and good, the food and drinks were also good. We usually always have food left over and have to get a to go box but we ended up eating everything. The margarita flight was great even though it's frozen you can taste the flavors. Don't believe you can change the flavors they automatically come mango, regular and strawberry. The strawberry margarita sangria was a good light drink. Our server was amazing, he made the experience better with other recommendations for us to try next time. Definitely will be going back at least to the High St location.

Business has note on door about being short staffed, however we still got our food in a decent time...maybe due to us being in there with two other families. The food wasn't flavored.. drinks watered and salted.. wasn't my favorite place just something to grab since team suggested.

    $3.89 for broken chips!

I was excited to try out El Rodeos new location in Carlisle, though I never visited their old location so I cannot compare. We went on Corvette show weekend and were surprised that it was not very crowded at 6:30. As expected, we were seated quickly and provided with a small basket of broken chips and salsa. The food was pretty standard Mexican fare, wait staff pretty unimpressive (didn't know half of the menu). What surprised me was when we received the bill we had been charged $3.89 for a second small basket of chips. That's after we spent around $30 on drinks. Come on, give us some chips! Not impressed. Not likely to return here. Cafe 101 has better (authentic) mexican dishes.

Good, standard Mexican fare. Very good for a region that doesn't really do Mexican food.

Solid American Mexican food. Great service too. Took great care of helping relative make safe selection for her food allergy.

Picture it: Friday. 4:45pm. Snow falling. 28 degrees. And me? Standing in a taco shack parking lot…read moredreaming of warmer days when I'm sitting at one of their picnic tables pretending I'm on vacation instead of actively battling Central PA winter. Because when the craving for real tacos hits, logic and weather forecasts no longer matter. First things first -- parking is easy. Big stoned lot right at the shack. Love that for me. Second thing -- and this is important -- Little Mexico Tacos is CASH ONLY. I learned this at the counter, which triggered an immediate wallet excavation worthy of an archaeological dig. My goal: secure enough funds for a chorizo burrito and street corn in a cup. I found a $20 bill and decided to live dangerously. Plot twist #1: they were out of rice. Brief emotional damage. Apparently rice is a key player in many menu items, but I pivoted like a seasoned professional because when tacos call, you answer. Plot twist #2: my total came to $20.14. FOURTEEN CENTS OVER. I braced myself for the walk of shame, but the guy at the counter waved it off like the legend he is. Sir, if you're reading this, I hope your pillow is always cool and your tacos are always perfect. Also elite-level move: at freezing temperatures, he told me to wait in my car and he'd holler when my food was ready. That's customer service with survival instincts. Let's set expectations: there is no inside here. None. Zero. This is an open-air taco shack. If the weather isn't nice, you're eating elsewhere... or embracing your inner feral raccoon and demolishing tacos in your car. Now for the important part -- THE FOOD. Street Corn (mild -- because I specifically requested "no spicy chaos"): Creamy. Tangy. Fully sauced. Not bland, not overpowering -- just perfectly balanced. Also served in a cup instead of on the cob, which means maximum efficiency and zero mess - WINNING! Chorizo Burrito: Absolute unit. Packed with just-the-right-level-of-spice chorizo, huge portion size, and -- surprise MVP moment -- the tortilla was lightly crisped instead of being a sad floppy wrap straight out of a bag. Half of this thing could feed a small village. I finished every bite of the meat like it was my job. Bonus green sauce situation included (avocado? wizardry?) that I fully expected to melt my face off -- but instead it was mellow and delicious and paired perfectly with the chorizo. Final verdict: Little Mexico Tacos is the real deal. No-frills setup, big flavors, generous portions, kind humans, and the exact kind of taco shack energy that makes you feel like you've unlocked a local secret. I will absolutely be back when the weather warms up so I can sit outside like a civilized human instead of a burrito-powered winter gremlin.

There was a small kitchen error with my meal, but the waitress was awesome and they fixed it in no time. I got a chimichanga and my daughter got tortas. Everything was so good. Also, get the churros. Right after us, people poured in and the place filled up quickly, so clearly it's doing something right. We ordered a shrimp cocktail ($12) to start, one chorizo taco ($4), one shrimp taco ($4), rice and beans ($6), and an order of chilaquiles with beef, chicken, and a fried egg ($14). We also grabbed a Diet Pepsi ($3) and a mandarin Jarritos ($4). Somewhere along the way we ended up with two chorizo tacos and two shrimp tacos (and were charged for them), but we rolled with it and turned them into decent leftovers. The shrimp cocktail was huge -- served in what I can only describe as a glass milkshake cup. The shrimp themselves were good-sized, but it was mostly red sauce, so the dramatic presentation felt a little unnecessary. The shrimp taco was the standout -- really tasty and well-balanced. The chorizo taco was good flavor-wise but on the dry side and could have used some kind of sauce to help it along. Adventure Buddy was very happy with the chilaquiles, which came loaded with beef, chicken, and a fried egg. He demolished most of it, leaving zero leftovers and no regrets. The staff were friendly and kind and did their best to stay attentive as the restaurant got busier. All-in, after tip, we spent around $70 for a Friday night date night. That felt a little high for what we ordered, but the extra tacos did give us leftovers, so that helped soften the blow. Bottom line: this is a solid Mexican restaurant. Would I go out of my way to eat here? No. If I was in the area and craving Mexican food, would I come back? Sure. Nothing to shout from the rooftops about, but also nothing to complain about -- average, fine, and perfectly serviceable. Bonus points for plentiful free parking, since it's located in a strip mall.
