Great park to take in while enjoying your stay in Madrid. It was rainy and around 45F when we took our stroll. It was a few days before our hometown Miami Dolphins played the Washington Commanders in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, so there were Dolphins reminders around. It is a beautiful sprawling park with lots of water and wildlife. Towering trees and greenery were everywhere, not so much color due to the season, but there was some.
Best part of the day was the downpour that forced us under tents and umbrellas to sit and enjoy a nice lunch and local beer at a park cafe. When the world rains on you, relax, and enjoy a beer and a calamari sandwich. The staff went out of their way to get us dry and comfortable, which was an unexpected plus.
