It's been over a year since I've visited, and was so disappointed. The margaritas were weak, watery and they only had on the rocks. The food was mediocre, and service was not great either. We had a party of 2, and they added a tip onto the bill!!!! That was the lowest. So, don't go and you won't be disappointed. Hopefully, they will get new staff, manager, etc and it will get back to the way it used to be. But for now, NO WAY. read more

Laziest waitresses in the world my waitress had her son there as she was SUPPOSED to be working she spent more time with him then decided to leave and go to the store leaving us at the table forat least 15 mins. upon returning sheNEVER came to check on us. Stopped by this Mexican spot on a Thursday afternoon. It was during Happy Hour so I took advantage of the $2.50 margarita special. Food was good, nothing really stood out though. I ordered a combo of refried beans, rice + taco and steak and shrimp over rice. Hibachi style. The food was good for the price; my only gripe is that gratuity is automatically included, but I did not receive quick service at all. Classic Tex mex that tastes truly authentic, the steak and carnitas are amazing. Service isn't the warmest but I like that, don't get the house margs get the Texas, much better. We went to El Ranchero at noon on a Saturday to have lunch for my birthday and we're told that the rice was not done and there were other items that weren't done and we would have to leave even though it was 12 and that's when it was supposed to open. The poorest customer service I've ever witnessed!!! there was nobody in the restaurant at all so apparently they don't need any business don't go. Food was pretty good I had the veggie nachos, the only thing I didn't like was that they put nachos way at the bottom so the chips was super soggy. They did give us extra chips though. The service was ehh....don't bring cash use a card to be quicker. They have like a iPad or something for the card so it's faster, took the lady at the front desk like 5 min to get our change. She was nice though, just seemed a bit overwhelmed to say it was slow. The drink were kinda weak , we had a margarita while we waited. I went here for a working lunch with my managers and received the worst service ever!!! I should've just served myself considering the nonchalant attitudes of the waitresses. This place used to be really good a few years ago, but not anymore. I was really craving their fajita chicken quesadilla. The 1st time I wanted to get it to go but because I stood a the counter for 10 minutes and no one ever came to take my order I left. The 2nd time I waited for about 5 minutes before the waitress came to take my order. The biggest problem for me was that she was sitting at the table right in front of where you place your order but she was sitting down talking so I guess she wanted to finish before her conversation before she got up to do her job. When I realized she was the waitress & that she had been sitting right in front of me running her mouth instead of doing her job I just walked out. So today was my last try, I didn't wait long at all today & I finally got my quesadilla. However it was terrible greasy, every time I picked it up I had a handful of grease. It really ended up being a big ass taco because the cook didn't even bother to cut it. I asked the waitress for some sour cream she told me it doesn't come with the quesadilla & it cost .55....ok. She went to the back & never came back. Which is what I'm gonna do to....NEVER COME BACK! The customer service is terrible & so is the food. I DO NOT recommend this place! Keep driving! read more

The salsa and chips are good. We got cheese dip and asked for jalapeños in it. It was the best! However, my entree was a disappointment. I got a vegetarian plate that came with one cheese enchilada, a bean taco and rice. I asked for spinach to be added to the enchilada as well. I only ate two bites of my enchilada because it was extremely salty! The taco and rice were good. We ordered two desserts- churros with ice cream and flan of course. The flan had an odd taste to it but I liked the churros. The dessert took a very long time to arrive which had us constantly looking for our waitress. The older Hispanic lady has been there forever and now I'm sure she doesn't remember me but I remember her and she has given me horrible service twice. Snatched my bill from my hand because they brought me a dirty cup with lip prints on it so I asked her to remove the drink and that was her response along with speaking Spanish under her breath saying God knows what. Let me start by saying that I am an avid Mexican food eater so quality and authenticity is big for me. I used Door Dash to order food from this restaurant twice (I believe in second chances) and that has led me to this review. My biggest problem is the lack of ingredients and meats despite what's displayed on the menu. If I order something, there's no reason why you should have to call me to make several changes to my order because of unavailability. How are you a Mexican restaurant if the only meat options available are grilled chicken and carne asada? Al Pastor (marinated pork) is never available but is an option on the menu. Also when it comes to drinks, I favor horchata a lot. I paid for a horchata but because it was unavailable, I had to settle for lemonade (which was more like stale lemon water) so I was very disappointed at that. Again I emphasize this, don't have people pay for items on your menu if they aren't actually available. Portion size is a problem as well. I ordered a quesadilla and paid a little extra since they offered a large sized quesadilla option (I was hungry). Now all of you that are reading this, already know what a quesadilla should look like (especially a "large" one). So picture that in your head. Now picture a single burrito-sized tortilla, folded over like a taco, with meat and cheese on the inside and there's the so called "large quesadilla" they will serve you. The only positive thing I can say is that the food itself is pretty tasty but it would be a lot better if you were served the food you originally wanted. read more
