The actual restaurant/bar drinks and bathrooms is the issue needs to definitely be updated. So back to the good part of the review: the food. Now I love me some Birria tacos and usually they are the size of a small corn tortilla...but not these! When she brought me out these ginormous (3) tacos I couldn't believe my eyes! They were the size of my open hand past my wrist! Now my pictures don't do them any justice because it took me 2-3 days to finish them and the side of Mexican rice which was also so big! So be aware that you will have food to take home for lunch or to eat later as I'm a grazer myself...lol. Now the margaritas were not good at all and tasted premade which for an authentic Mexican a spot as this seems to be should be a no-no! I did like the salsa that tasted homemade and asked if I could take a side of it home! As usual I love finding a diamond in the rough and this is definitely it! Great food and service horrible margaritas.

I really love the ambience of the restaurant where you have seating for both the bar (where you can enjoy music and pool) as well as the restaurant side where you can sit and dine or wait for a pick up order. The staff is great! I really enjoy the main hostess as they are very hospitable and accommodating. This evening, we sat at the bar and ordered lots of great food, especially the Birria tacos and quesadillas. The consume was just the right consistency! I will say that my only issue is that the bar does not have enough options for various types of drinks - were so being able to modify classic cocktails I definitely will be back and have been back to order carry out however eating and it's my preference.

We started with 4 and ended our order with 8 steak tacos. I understand inflation is driving up the cost of meat and keeping business open, that being said, their price point starts at $7 for each single steak taco. They were delish! This is a place to dress comfortably and not need to wait long to order. I later realized they actually do use self service kiosks which is convenient for busy low staffed operating hours.

Our guacamole was a little bit too icy, as it came right out of the fridge. The tacos, particularly the shrimp taco, were amazing. We shared the corn, which was perfectly sweet and tangy, ordered three lemonades, and tried a handful of tacos. The taco de lengua was tender and moist without being fatty, the barbacoa was savory with just the right hint of sweetness, and the carne asada was hearty, meaty, and full of flavor. We wrapped things up with a flan that was creamy and custardy--exactly how it should be. The packed parking lot says it all about this place's popularity. Don't miss out.

This place I went to this past weekend. I've been there when they first opened so now they've expanded. They've put on an addition and they are obviously going to be playing with a band. However this addition is not air-conditioned. They have fans in there but it's not air-conditioned. If you're a person who wants to have air conditioning while they eat, you probably don't want to come here right now until they finish. For the food not bad, not bad at all. I had a beef burrito. I didn't finish it because it kind of reminded me of a burrito steak and cheese but I've had other things. All of the sauces were good and the black beans were excellent. I'm sure they have a wide and varied menu so I'm sure that you will find something that you like. The staff is not completely good with English but the prices were very inexpensive and they have a carry-out. In fact the carry-out is the biggest part of it. I'd recommend it if you are passing this area and you got a yen for authentic Mexican food. You owe yourself a visit.
