I DO NOT RECOMMEND! HORRIBLE customer service. I had placed an online order for pupusas revueltas just to get pupusas de frijoles. Understandable since the order did have side of casamiento. So I call to get this fixed. I repeated the my order to the Cashier Ana MULTIPLE of times that my order supposed to be revueltas NOT frijoles. I go back to pick it up and I did not check because I didn't think she would mess it up the second time around. I was wrong. I got the SAME EXACT pupusas again!!! These pupusas were a treat for a coworker and they can't eat beans. She wanted me to go back for the THIRD time and when I declined she would offer other days like Tuesdays to go back for the right order. I politely asked to get refunded, she declined to do so. After multiple times of telling her to refund me, she said I would have to go to the store to pick up my refund???? I paid with my card NOT with cash. Went to this place today as I was craving for some food for breakfast, which is also very convenient because it's just two minutes away by walking from Hyattsville Crossing Metro Station. I ordered a typical Salvadoran breakfast with a "supposed to be four oz carne azada, extra charge $5.50, which was maybe two oz after all", whatever, food was ok, but I think the horchata drink was overpriced $5.00 for a glass of horchata? That was crazy. I ordered some empanadas too and I think the plantains weren't ripe at all, texture feel hard with an unpleasant flavor, service was bored, but the thing that really kill the vibe and the ambience, was the coldness inside that place, oh Lord, food got cold two minutes after served. I'm not sure if the heater was broken or if they had it at all, but that was crazy cold inside that place. Bathroom toilet isn't working properly too, had to deal it with. if I would try it again? Awful experience. Walked in to order food to go. Restaurant was empty. Ordered tacos and empanadas and was told 10 minutes. I'm just leaving .... 43 minutes later... with no food. It was still not ready when i ultimately asked for a refund and left. They kept telling me 2 more minutes... for at least 20 of the 40mins. Very very upsetting read more

So the pupusas were delicious I got revuelta and chicharron. Couldn't tell the difference between them but they were both delicious. In addition I got the mini ceviche. La Chiquita Restaurant came highly recommended by friends, it did not disappoint. Sopa Marinera was a big hit. The tacos, upon request, were thick and seemed handmade. I love that the salsa came in a syrup pitcher - perfect for me. Getting the check took a little long, but that's ok. Also, it's a little hard to find because their exterior sign above the door doesn't match their name. She was quite patient and friendly, which was greatly appreciated. I've been back multiple times to order their food. It's a nice spot for some good quality tacos when Im not looking to travel far. Also, they're never busy when I stop by, which is usually late at night. The pupusas aren't expensive and neither are the tacos.
