Wife and I just moved to clover. We both have lived all over the United States, and have tried close to 50 different Mexican restaurants. My wife even more so being from Mexico City. Almost all places in the States she turns her nose up at them stating "this is terrible compared to back in Mexico". She ordered a chiles relleno and pollo con crema with chipotle added on. She took a bite of the chicken and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. She opened the container holding the chiles relleno and her eyes widened at the cheese carefully placed on top and said "The person who made this is either from Mexico or spent time there." Her assumption was more or less confirmed when she took a bite. I had ordered the pollo fundido chimichanga, and it's very possible that it's the best that I've ever had. Both my wife and I cannot wait for us to be hungry again so we can try something else from the menu. TLDR: Best damn mexican food I've tried in a very long time, and would give higher than 5 stars if that was an option. Gawd awful. Apparently the local clover clientele knows nothing about Mexican food, That's the only reason I can fathom all these good reviews. But let me say this, if you walk into a Chinese restaurant and you don't see any Chinese cooks or wait staff, you probably shouldn't eat there, so yeah it's like that. Just a bunch of non Mexicans. My son's beef nachos were potted ham nachos and GOD AS MY WITNESSES my Chimichanga tasted like a WET FREAKIN' DOG smells. I kid you not!!! So I guess if you're a local and you don't know a Yolanda from a wet dish rag this place may suit you just fine. But these people will never see me again. Oh and another thing. Seating is a fool's mess. Maximum occupancy should be no more than 12-14 people so if you see more than 5 cars in the lot, don't come in or you'll be sitting knee to knee with a stranger. read more

We finally decided to try them and all I can say is DELICIOUS!!!! We haven't dined in yet, but the take out is amazing!!! Everything we have tried has NOT disappointed us. We always laugh when we call in our order and they say that it will be 5-10 minutes, but that is the honest truth! We order, go get in our car and make it there in about 6 minutes and the food is always ready!!! If you haven't tried them yet, you definitely should! read more

I called this restaurant on a whim craving Mexican food. Never eaten there but heard it was great. I don't have a car at the moment and live just down the street and they were kind enough to bring me my food. It was quick and the food is EXCELLENT! Great flavor authentic Mexican. Glad to see a new Mexican Restaurant in Clover, SC. So much better than the El Mexicano in Clover. Ordered Taco's today for $1.00 each and the food was fresh, hot and superb. (Tuesday after 3pm is $1.00 Taco's) Staff is nice and friendly. Give them a try and I'm sure you will enjoy their food too. They also have daily lunch specials. read more
