The venue itself is two levels tall, but it can still be quite intimate - pretty low seating on the first floor and a handful of tables on the second. It's a nice place to briefly take a respite from the hustle and bustle of State Street and refuel both the body and soul.

We ordered Chilaquiles and the French Toast. The chilaquiles was not authentic but we really liked it! Would definitely recommend. Same for the French toast! Yummy. The fruit was so sweet and fresh. The almonds were a nice touch. 5 Stars for the food. I liked that the water was self service. I liked that take out boxes were readily available. I didn't have to ask or wait in either case. It felt more like a chic, creative version of French toast rather than the traditional style, which is the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five.
