Pros: location was easy to find. I went through the drive-through. I got my usual chipotle burrito. It was as delicious as I remember. Cons: I asked for avocados also but they forgot to give it to me. I like this food because I grew up eating it. But I can tell you that in my family of six people I'm the only person who likes el polls loco. read more

Great location. It wasn't too busy so we ordered and got our food quick. My husband got a bowl of some kind. I got a 2 piece chicken meal with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The chicken was juicy and had crispy skin. I loved the mashed potatoes and my toddler loved the Mac and cheese! read more

On the dates of March 3rd, 4th, and 8th; I had dinner at this El Pollo Loco location near St. George. I'm a fan of the cuisine served at this chain of restaurants, so I had this place a couple times on my trip. I've eaten El Pollo Loco in California, Colorado, and Nevada. I ordered tostadas, burritos, tacos, and churros here. They were all delicious. The service was a bit slow though, and it could have been faster. The dining interior is the nicest and cleanest of all El Pollo Loco locations I've dined at. read more

fast service, amazing taste/flavor. For sure best food option in the plaza. Fire grilled chicken if actually fire

The chicken tostada is the best here and the people are fast and quick which is great because my lunch break is kinda short

You cant beat the views!! . and the food does. Also great service !! worth the drive

This El Pollo Loco is one of the bests I've ever eaten at. The staff has always been friendly and don't complain when I ask for my dish to be modified. And when I ask for 10 avocado salsa's, they give me 10 and ask if I want more! I feel the partitions are a little bigger and the foot is always hot. I come in at least once a week. Health, affordable, and super survive is what I expect and get every time. read more

Very good tacos! Fresh fast food! I live out of state, but I would definitely visit again!

I want to update the review I made over a year ago. I went to this El Polo Loco last night and saw they are now under new management. Let me tell you, the improvement was amazing! The food was excellent and so was the service! We are so happy to see the changes made since this has always been one of our favorite restaurants and we've had to avoid it the last few years. There is only one El Polo in St George and we are happy that we can now enjoy their amazing chicken again! read more

Clean, great customer service, great tasting food! If you use the app, prices are awesome. Manager came and checked on our group, was super kind the entire time. Appreciate the service! read more

Great service, delicious food Gaby and Kristy they were excellent .......................

I've eaten here for 10 years without complaints. Lately though it's been a disappointment. Like others have said this is the only chicken restaurant that doesn't have chicken half the time. Yesterday after a 20 minute wait in the drive through I was told chicken would take 40 minutes. How could grilling chicken take 40 minutes. I understand Covid has caused lots of problems for the fast food industry, but the manager of this store needs to either fix the problem or find another career. I wonder if the owner is paying attention. Other restaurants have managed to maintain during this difficult time, but for some reason not El Pollo Loco. I like the food but for now I'll be going to Viva Chicken or elsewhere. Note to El Pollo- A cut and paste response directing me to your website isn't necessary. If you read this you make the notification. read more

The location recently changed ownership and it is a night and day change. They repaired the old run down interior and spruced everything up. I had quit going there for a couple years ago but decided to stop by. Wow. Food was fresh and delicious. Customer service was great. I highly recommend and think the poor old ratings need to be reevaluated. read more

Bad customer service. Honestly a very loud and uninviting experience where they could have been kinder.

The food is delicious and the workers are so nice! I loved every bite and this is the best fast food in Washington!

Spent $30+ Tonight for a 10 Piece Family Dinner for a Family Gathering. We're Told it Would Be a 45 minute wait for Legs and Thighs, Agreed to Take the "Mixed" Got to the Location, and opened it up to find BURNT, Dried Out, Old Chicken. We ate the Mac n Cheese & Beans with Chips. $30 Bucks for 2 Sides and a Small Bag of Chips : ( Chicken Was Inedible. Good Thing Someone Else Brought a Pizza.....I Love El Pollo Loco as a Healthier Option to Fast Food BUT This Location is Poorly Managed and SUBPAR on Every Level. Sorry to Say I will Not Waste Money Here Again. read more

BOOOOOO!!!!!!! First of all, the girl with her bright white hair working the window is out of control. She seemed rude while giving our order, and then when we pulled up she was full on pissed. When grabbing a cup to fill up our drink she aggressively pulled it out making several cups come up at once and some of them flying to the ground... she kicked them. Handed us our food and literally just said "here" . We asked for salsa and she was even more pissed. It was nuts. I don't know who pissed in her cereal this morning but it was intense. And then secondly; the food was atrocious. My salad had like half a cup of water at the bottom and the chicken was tough. My husbands burrito had close to no meat. And then... the green salsa... it was slime. Goop. Perhaps someone's spit loogie. I probably will never try this place again. At least not for a few months. read more

Great food! Good value. Service was very personable and quick. In the spirit of the season with cute Christmas decorations! Thanks.

I just visited visited this location and after taking my order at 2:51 Tara D informed me that they were closing at 3. It doesn't say this anywhere and I thought they would be open until 10 pm. My sister and I had her baby with us who was starving and angry as we are in the middle of a road trip. They turned off the lights on us and we were out of there at 3:09. Tara was pretty rude and did not seem to be experienced in customer service. Won't be coming back here again. read more

New management. Excellent fresh chicken, fresh beans and salad. Very clean! Well done El Apollo Loco! We will be back!

This place was an absolute disappointment. I ordered the leg lovers meal with a side of black beans and mashed potatoes. When I was handed the bag all the beans and mashed potatoes were spilled inside of the bag ! So messy ! When I opened the container of chicken , the chicken looked as if someone took a bite out of each chicken leg I had . I was disgusted ! I do not recommend this location whatsoever . No wonder why the drive thru / parking lot is ALWAYS EMPTY . not to mention they take forever to even get on the intercom to take your order . read more

We went to Pollo Loco today and the food was great. I ordered the two piece chicken meal it was all fresh and tasty. my husband orderef the chicken salad and the lettuce was fresh and was very good. Our order came out quickly and everything we asked for was on our tray. Very clean a pleasure to eat inside. I told the young man that our food was great and he told me that he was the GM I believe his name was Isaac We will be returning soon. read more

Well we got there about 7:00pm on Sunday and the dine-in was closed strike one. Then reluctantly we get in the drive-thru line only to find they had no thighs or legs strike two and three. Now, strike two and three sounded like they just didn't want to do their job. Can't believe they didn't have the main ingredients. Luckily Red Robin was open and we're having a great meal. read more

We came here passing through St George, Utah to our destination in Anaheim, CA. Originally from Colorado, I don't understand why my parents love El Pollo Loco so freakin' much?! This place is fast food at best and not even filling or appetizing. We only stopped by because it was convenient and the only other option might've been other fast food. El Pollo Loco is similar to a Chipotle, because it's Mexican fast food for sure. But I love my Chipotle better! Otherwise no severe issues, just that in their restroom their tap water in the faucet was so bloody hot that it burned our hands and it was steaming smoke like crazy. read more

El Pollo Loco - It's okay for a quick truck stop - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Utah

I'm normally not one to complain, but it seems like every food place in St. George is giving you less than your moneys worth. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I went to El Pollo Loco. I ordered a pollo bowl with NO RICE and as you can tell by the pictures....WHERE'S THE REST??? I've ordered the samething at other locations and they have filled it to the top with beans, not only that, but the chicken is not in chunks its almost gritty/shredded. I understand COVID is still happening, but what does that have ANYTHING to do with how you serve the food that we are paying for? If you're going to Jip us, than lower your prices! I plan on calling corporate because this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. read more

Used a coupon for Chicken dinner. Drive up special. The service was fast. They seemed like they know what they're doing. Chicken with two sides. Got it home and it wasn't bad. For the price I can see how why they seem to always be busy. In all wasn't bad. You definitely need the coupon to make it reasonable. Would come back. read more

El Pollo has always been one of my favorites of all time but not all locations are alike. This one is better than most places that I've been to and luckily it's super closed to my house so I come here a lot. I simply love their chicken, never get tired of it. The quality of it has always been great, delicious, tender and juicy (make sure you request to get fresh and juicy chicken). That's exactly what I do every time and never get disappointed. Their corn and mash potato are also very good, totally fresh, flavorful and tasty. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. My experience has always been pleasant and positive except for a few times where there were a couple pieces of chicken missing. I just realized it when I got home (it's not a big deal to me, I totally understand how busy it gets sometimes). I never actually tell them so I really hope they don't repeat their mistakes to other customers. Sometimes I ask for corn tortillas, they give me the original or forgot my salsa/avocado sauce but it's okay. I make sure I check my order before I leave to avoid that problem again. Other than that, great food plus great service. Definitely recommend it!!! read more

Chicken quality was Exquisite and taste was pungent and and tasty and the team was friendly

Food is good. But I feel like these workers that work in the drive thru are in such a rush to get me to finish my order. Slow down!! As soon as I place an order for 1 item the worker says "is that it?" He does this after all FIVE of my items! Just slow down!! I'll tell you when I'm done...or I might stop talking. You aren't supposed to keep talking over me. Oh and FYI, there wasn't anyone in line behind me and the parking lot was empty. So just chill dude!! read more

I ordered the family 8 piece family meal 6 churros and 5 drinks. El Pollo Loco - 6 chips and a small guac container instead of my churros - Mexican Near Me - Washington, Utah

What can I say? It was chicken I think. It was so darn charred (someone step out for a smoke and forget?) it wasn't recognizable. Stopped in for the 4 piece (1/2 chicken) meal yesterday chose sides of corn (egh), brocolli (in a plastic bag), and flour tortillas. At $10 and viewing this pathetically charred to death chicken I kept thinking of store bought rotisserie whole chicken or even Viva Chicken (on 100 South past TJ Max before I-15 underpass)...all prepared with a little care and attention to cooking. So El Pollo Loco, asta la vista. BTW dogs don't mind burnt chicken. Had to cut skin and pieces with scissor. read more

The food is always good when the dining room is opened... usually there's a sign on the door informing customers they are under staffed and only the drive through is open... Also the the seats in the booths needs to be reupholstered... pretty ragged... or maybe new management. read more

Pretty long wait for the food. We ordered a 12pc Chicken, they didn't have any ready... It was dinner time too! Had to wait a good 15-20 minutes. Obviously with the wait, you get hot and freshly made chicken. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The tortillas, on the other hand, we like over cooked. They were dry and hard. They gave us 20 tortillas and literally ALL of them were broken. Also, because of Covid-19, the sauce bar is closed. They only gave us like 3 pico de gallo and 3 avocado salsas... we needed way more than that. Overall, El Pollo Loco is affordable and great-tasting at the same time, especially if you're on a road trip and just passing through the area. read more
