To find anything open in Puerto Rico on Good Friday is a tall task, so we were very lucky to notice El Platanal. It's pretty new, and really a great find. Welcoming staff, immaculate interior, delicious food and drink and very reasonably priced. Instead of a typical (heavy) nacho platter we tried Platanachos, which is plantain chips with green peppers, pulled pork, and sautéed onions. SO good. Open 7 days. read more
