Forget all the Papa's...this is the new go-to place. food is fantastic! Real authentic flavors. Prices are good too. This place used to be up the street in a gas station, but they have their own standalone restaurant now. All the staff are really nice. Good music playing. We are now patrons for life and will be driving any distance to come back here. We got the Carnitas and Carne Asada tacos and 2 Pupusas, one just cheese and one with chicharrones. Fantastic, can't say that enough. Go here, you won't be disappointed! The tea was good too. The salsa bar offers tasty options and toppings as well. Yum yum!

Great simple place that shares the space with a Shell station. Owned by a really great couple from El Salvador. The food is very good to downright delicious. Plus for those who are fans of Pupusas they're made from scratch here. They serve breakfast food as well which is also very good 'n' cheap. The chef Armando is also very nice and pleasant, he loves what he does as its obvious.

This is a great lunch spot. I love a good street taco and this place serves up some decent ones. I will be back for sure. They also have a salsa bar where you can add your own onions and cilantro. I tried a pupusa for the first time. I have been wanting to try one for a very long time. I ordered the bean and cheese. It was kind of dry for my taste. Good flavor but dry. The curtido had too much of a cumin flavor for me. If you love cumin it would be for you. I enjoyed it but just not something I would need to order again. I really want to try their cheese steak sub. They have a pretty good variety on there menu in case you aren't in the mood for mexican. Good comforting cheap eats. Can't go wrong with that.

Carne Asada Burrito is top notch. Large, filling, seasoned perfectly. Can't miss and the service is quick and reliable.

Best tacos de lengua in the 828. Can't beat the price, folks are friendly and food is delicious.

Good is decent, service depends on who you get. If you have a problem with your food and the woman…read morewho owns it is there she will argue with you and talk down to you. She is very rude and hateful when you tell her something is wrong. Today myself, my husband and son went for a late lunch. I ordered a shrimp chimichanga, husband ordered quesadilla rebozo, son had arroz con pollo. Cheese dip and 3 drinks they charged us more than the menu price amd when we brought it to her attention she basically told us it was her restaurant and she could charge whatever she wants!! I know $12/13 don't seem like much but this is not the first time this has happened. And then to be called a liar on top of it when your menu even says your wrong is ridiculous

5 Stars! El Rebozo…read moreMexican Restaurant is the place to go! The menu is absolutely massive--it's like the Mexican food encyclopedia. They don't waste a second, either. You sit down, and boom! Chips and salsa right in front of you. And this salsa? Just the right kick, with chips so perfectly crispy they could start their own ASMR channel. I got the fajita-quesadilla, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece. Huge, packed with flavor, and loaded with melty queso that could make anything taste amazing. My boyfriend went for the "Burrito El Rebozo," and he found it delicious! He joked that his portion looked like the size of a small child, by comparison to mine, but it was actually just right and hit the spot for him. And the prices? Insanely affordable. We left full and happy without doing any serious damage to our wallets. Bottom line: come hungry, bring your stretchy pants, and let El Rebozo work its magic.

On a recent trip to Smiley's flea market my friend and I found this gem. Unlike some of the other…read moretaco places at Smiley's, Taqueria Los Gallos doesn't have an exterior presence. It is located on the corner of the indoor market. The market's walkway literally transects the dining room. What Los Gallos lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in authentic kick ass tacos and tamales. My friend and I visited Los Gallos after we succesfuly located a copy of the 2005 remake of War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise. This was victory food. We ordered two al pastor tacos and a tamale. The tacos were on point, double wrapped corn tortillas, and a solid helping of delicious pork. No frills, just solidly well prepared pork, onions, and cilantro. The tortillas were warm and tender. The tacos were good, but the tamale was GREAT. We missed out on the verde chicken tamale, as they had sold out by noon. We were happy to settle for the pork rojo one, which was still available. Los Gallos' tamale was bigger than most, and it was moist and airy. Dense dry tamales can take a hike, this thing was a golden brick of maize. The pork within was nice chunks of slow cooked meat, not some sort of macerated filling... oh man, I can't get over how awesome this tamale was. The best part? Tamales are $1.50. I think everyone loves finding a new spot, a hidden gem that offers an out of this world food item, and Los Gallos is just that spot! Furthermore I have to mention their avocado salsa which is neon green, and the most delicious salsa I think I've ever had. I know I get excited about things regularly... but Los Gallos... Los Gallos is worth driving to Fletcher for. Word of caution, Los Gallos is only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am til 3 pm. This gives you a very small window of time to check this land of wonder out.
