This caused a huge delay in our escrow closing and resulted in a full replacement of the HVAC system ($20,125) when we likely could have sold the house without that expense had the work actually been done. I never heard back and called another company for a quote as I don't think that hiring someone you have to chase down to do work is reliable. Almost a year later, I start getting phone calls and text messages demanding payment for work, threatening to show up at my door and asking when I am going to be home to collect payment. I had completely forgotten who this even was because it has been so long. I asked what work they had done and what I was supposed to "pay" for. I asked them to please mail me a bill as I also thought this was a phone scam. They said I needed to pay for the mold inspection report and then also said there was no mold. I had never received a report, I had never received a bill, and asked for them to mail me the "bill" with the report so that I can actually see and receive what I am being charged for and so I knew this was in fact a legitimate company and isn't a scam as the phone number texting me was unknown and I had never communicated with that number. They texted me a file that I could not open and so I asked again for them to mail me a bill and stated that I would like the report they said they are charging me for. A month goes by and I still have not received the report in the mail and they start texting again demanding payment for something I never received. I ask again for them to send me the report, they state that they mailed it with the bill which they absolutely did not. I had received a one page bill with no inspection report. I asked again for a copy as when you are asking for hundreds of dollars for something, you should actually get it before payment especially when the company has been this terrible, lying about mailing a report and never even giving me a call after they come out until a year later demanding money for something I never got. In the end they ended up texting me pictures of a report. I would never hire this company due to their horrible customer service, lying about mailing a report, and never following up about the work, but a year later text demands for money for a report they never even printed out for me. They stated they e-mailed it to my e-mail, but I had nothing in my e-mail and if it went to spam it deletes after 30 days, hence why I asked for a copy. Asking them to actually just send a copy in the mail was too much work for them and never happened, but they still charged me hundreds of dollars for the report.

He wouldn't answer and was strange about it. I asked if he was able to disclose his findings, and he said no. He could have just said that from the start. His demeanor the whole time was unpleasant, and he did not want to answer any of my questions. We then got into a conversation about air sampling and I said it can be great and it has it's place yes, but it's not the only tool. He did not like that and became so hostile with me. He said it's the only way to detect mold and that he was the best in the business. Several times when I tried to respond, he said Will you let me talk?! He never explained his process when he came in. I let him know this and he said he told my husband. Problem is, I was the one home and was not aware what he would be doing. He was ineffective and clearly knows nothing about mold. He refused to complete the job, called me the problem, and laughed on the way out. I am thankful he left as he did nothing to investigate, and his demeanor was narcissist and hostile. I had another company come out and wow!
