Though I've only been into…read morethe Walmart Neighborhood Market and Jo-Ann's, I've noticed that the parking lot looks clean, and they have some basic landscaping to soften the overall space. The first time we came by, it was springtime, so the nearby hills sported a coat of green grasses. Not being as familiar with this side of town, I was pleasantly surprised to see the scenic backdrop as an aspect of shopping here. There's at least one restaurant here that I want to try, and I do come back to Jo-Ann's, so I won't be a stranger to this local plaza. Guess I'll have to pay attention to what else is here, too.

I don't think Neiman Marcus is still open as they're closing stores here and there. I just came for a wander around to kill time but of course the stores calls you in. The original food court still does pretty well but I can't say much with the Topanga social and it didn't last long. You have all your classic stores and then the higher end which this mall does offer a lot. Compared to the other Westfield, it's way bigger and better. There's plenty of parking both with covered structures as well as open lot. A good amount of restaurants surrounding as well as a movie theatre. It's your one stop shop.

Toy Depot is filled with all kinds of toys, which is great. But, the employee working there wasn't very nice. After picking out a product I wanted to purchase, I couldn't locate where the checkout stand was and realized once I did, some guy was sitting there asleep! I had to make some noise for him to wake up so he could ring me up. What the heck?! I get the place was empty, but sleeping on the job??? To make matters worse, his attitude towards me was unacceptable. Seems like he was grumpy from me waking him up from his power nap. I gave this place 2-stars instead of 1-star because I found what I wanted there.

I enjoy getting a drink occasionally from Agua Cabana on the second floor, and the perfect mall snack is an Açaí bowl from Bearies on the first floor. My favorite stores include - Pop Mart, Box Lunch, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Miniso, Hot Topic, Hollister, Old Navy, Journey's & Sophi's Cosmetics. It's a smaller mall but it's local & always a solid place for a hang out. There is also many on site restaurants that I enjoy such as Yard House, LongHorn Steakhouse, California Pizza Kitchen & Red Robins. There is also an Escapology located here outside the mall which is great as an interactive experience. The workers I've encountered here are typically very friendly & the mall is kept very clean.

It's a smaller mall compared to others nearby which tends to have more stores. If I'm here it's for either one or two stores or to just walk around to see what there is available. This visit was for something simple that needed to be done. Which I knew that they had a certain store. Surprising it was pretty busy for a Monday. Mind you it was a holiday and kids are off of school. But to see this place pretty lively was amazing. Each visit, tends to alway be pretty mellow. The stores aren't quite the same as they used to be. Loads of the stores that once thrive have faded away. But something new would takes its place. Hopefully they'll last for some time. I did noticed that the food court does seem to have some interesting vendors. Plus there's a new Panini Cafe at the old Red Robbin's location. It's quite big which I was surprised to see walking in today. They have both an indoor patio as well an outdoor patio. The mall isn't what it used to be. The bigger chain stores have gone or either went out of business. Macys is still there which I'm quite surprised. Regardless, people are still going to be buying whether it be a new store or an old one.
