Picked up a bunch of lamb chops and we are excited to enjoy them. Pro Tips: Try their spicy snack mix which includes pepper jack cheese, pepperoni and other meats with heat, for an amazing treat to go!

Today, I knew I would be driving through, so I decided to check this place out. I'd looked at the website and felt confident I would find at least one item to sample and take with me. I was greeted by a young woman who was very friendly. She pointed out the selection and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I told her I was interested in Hot Links; she asked if I wanted fresh or smoked. I advised Smoked and when she checked, they were sold out. At that point, I decided to settle for fresh and when we looked there, again they were sold out. I don't know if the links are that good, or if they just aren't gifted at managing their inventory. It's Friday and I'd like to believe you want everything stocked going into a weekend. At that point, I asked about Jerky, she handed me a pack, but I passed. It had brown sugar, which the cheap grocery store jerky's have. Meat is savory, not sweet, if you want sweet jerky, then add it to teriyaki, but plain jerky should have very little if any sugar in my opinion. I would have considered this a bust, but I was headed up the road to Blue Max anyway and they have the best jerky in the region in my opinion, unfortunately their hot link is more of a spicy hot dog than traditional Louisiana Red.

The samoon bread was insanely fresh. They were popping out batch after batch. That bread was soft, delicious & every ounce of comfort you could expect from fresh baked bread. I went a couple weeks ago and tried to order a shawarma but I must have came to early bc they were not ready. So today I decided to try again. I ordered the combo and the digital menu shows the combo as $14.99 but it rang up at $15.99. Not a big deal but the digital board should be updated. If you order online, the price does show for $15.99. The cashier was okay. Not as friendly with me as she was with others. It was like I was bothering her by ordering food. The gentleman who was in the back cooking my food was pretty friendly though. Honestly, based on the experience with the cashier it would be pretty easy to not rush back. But the shawarma was just good as I remembered. The chicken was juicy and extremely flavorful. Now that I work closer to this location, it will definitely be in rotation for me. The samoon was calling my name on this visit but I will definitely have to wait until next time and get it with some hummus. You can order the shawarma on the samoon also.

She charged me an extra $5 for the combo and lied that they don't offer sandwich only as an option anymore. Confronted her about it and she admitted to her dishonesty because she didn't want to figure out how to refund the $5. Burger was not cooked through and had lots of pink. Did not feel well taken care of as a customer.. Last time going to this market despite its layout. Owner needs to take care to improve quality of service and prepared foods.

Last week , we drove around Renton and Maple valley looking for marinated Mexican style beef. Found two super markets that sold the fresh meat and bought some to sample for the best in the area. So since we were in the area we remember a Latin market we visited several years ago and wanted to try there offerings. Bought a pound and one half to try. Also got some fresh looking tomatillos and peppers to make chille verde with chicken/pork. They also have small restaurant inside where you can sit down or takeout some authentic Mexican food. We'll need to try the food next time we are in the area cause we are headed to the casino for a late lunch.

I went straight for the restaurant area and ordered 2 chile rellenos to-go and a cold pineapple juice. It was perfect! Especially since I had to run errands that day and I forgot to bring my water bottle, this juice saved me!! The chile rellenos were really savory, the beans and rice portion was smaller then what I'm used to seeing from other restaurants like Puerto Vallarta or Moctezumas but the flavor was there and honestly I shouldn't be eating a bunch of carbs anyways :p Great options and close to home so I'm definitely gonna come here again.
