I ordered taquitos with no cream. I ordered a burrito just with meat, cilantro and onions and they have the cream in it and something else lettuce I guess. Taquitos I pacifically said no cream and it was on top. I knwill not go back there again after spending $31

We have been wanting to check this place out. Nice and clean, not very busy. We picked up some snacks and then got some dinner. I wasn't sure what to expect with the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. My daughter loved it too. Really like the rice

Are the spicy mango slices supposed to come with maggots, too?
    Tyler D.

My friend bought some spicy mango slices and when he opened it at home it was full of maggots at the bottom. Crawling with them. You will be receiving word from the health department. This is disgusting and you guys should feel disgusted about this.

Surprising to find a Mexican market in the middle of Sumner, but we were very pleased! We purchased a few of their items, and even though the aisles are crazy tight and they could use a bigger space and some organization, the prices were right and they have a lot of selection. We also had their food - the quesadilla was good, the pupusas were actually almost excellent (they didn't give me the tomato sauce) and the tacos were not bad. Did I appreciate the butcher guy staring non-stop? No, but I did appreciate the tasty beans with my quesadilla, so there's that. Plus they're open until 10 on Saturday!

AMAZING! 1.49 tacos and some BOMB salsa! Ask for "nacho salsa". BEST AROUND! marinaded ranchera was amazing on our grill and good price! didn't need any other seasoning! Their pan looks fresh and delish! Tons of Mexican candy verity also! Take the drive! So worth it! We drive from graham, and know we're going to get the best.

Carne asada meal with rice and beans. Had fresh made tortillas with it!

We were looking for a new place that serves amazing food and we found it here! You can buy in bulk or by the dish. We had al pastor tacos, carne asada, bulk carnitas and tamales. The rice and beans are amazing and my husband said the tamales are the best he's ever had! The carnitas are crisp and flavorful, better then we go to California to get! This place is on our new favorites menu!

Real mexican street tacos. Beef tongue, carne asada, and carnitas.

The tacos are good but the pork rinds were rancid that they served me. When I told them they just shrugged their shoulders.

I love the meal kits to make different Filipino soups for those lazy days you don't want to cook. The produce here always look so fresh. Their meat section offers all sorts of cuts that you would need for recipes or parties. I need to still buy fish from them so I can have them fried as they offer that as a service. The staff here are always so friendly and professional. They also have a birthday offer for those who sign up for their rewards program which is great to have if you shop here every so often. The store is always clean and organized any time we come by. I do also love how brightly lit and decorated the store is. The food court here is great and we have only tried stuff from the bakery and PhilHouse but want to try the other offerings as well!

This market is smaller than its competitor in Tacoma, but we found it well-stocked and organized, as evidenced by its bright, airy, and friendly staffed atmosphere. Our biggest dissatisfaction was with their ready-made meals--unbeknownst to us until we reached the checkout area, we learned that à la carte items are priced by weight. Normally, in other Filipino markets that offer ready-made entrees, a la carte items are priced by container size (S, M, L) rather than by weight. In essence, they were expensive meals to swallow (no pun intended). Secondly, most of what we purchased lacked flavor and content. For example, the pork sinigang was not sour enough, and the pork belly lacked substance because most were very fatty rather than meaty. The large container also had more liquid/soup than meat and veggies. Moreover, the chicken and pork barbecue were subpar, again lacking taste--exactly the opposite of how they looked while cooking on the grill. The pork sisig was probably our 'good' buy at best, although at a whopping $32.00+ for a large a la carte. We also purchased empanadas, puto bong bong, and taho at the bakery. Price and taste-wise, they were okay, but nothing to write home about. Across the board, my next trip would be to try out Max Chicken and peruse other specialty items. Otherwise, I would probably return to the grocery section to buy ingredients, cook, and enjoy a more flavorful meal at home.

After making a trek to another Eastern European market down in Tacoma the day before, now it was time to visit European Grocery in Everett on 3/2/25. Pro tip: Don't be intimidated by the stoic, standoffish staff at the deli counter or the register. Enjoy the culinary experience wandering their grocery aisles and remember your shopping bag(s) to package up your purchases. Because I had also stocked up at the other market in Tacoma, I noticed similarities in the product availability. However, I was able to find other things of interest especially in the smoked meats, condiments, chocolates, and biscuits areas. I enjoyed looking closely at their wine and spirits section...unique labels I would not find at my usual Ravenna wine shop in Seattle. My family and I have not experienced anything close to that at this store. Both the men and women were very helpful, let me admire their produce and culture (even let me take pictures and videos) & eagerly answered the few questions I did have. We had such an enjoyable experience that we came back the next day to buy more food & sweet treats. In regard to the ambiance, this grocery store isn't the biggest by any means. It's about the size of a NY bodega/convenience store, so don't expect to be able to find any and everything you usually can at other places. However their produce is fresh & all the meat, cheese and dessert products we have tried were all very good (certainly much healthier than the preservative and filler packed foods you'll find at your local WalMart, QFC, etc). I thoroughly enjoyed my first European market experience & can't wait to come back, as well as visit other stores.

I used to go to quite a few Asian stores in the international District, and usually the fresh foods were all cheap cheaper than any typical grocery store, but it seems to be the opposite of of this store. They do have some cute shopping parts for the little ones that are small shopping carts at a very low level for children to push and say "shopper in training". Really love this. Lines are pretty long but the nice benefit is that the cashiers are all humans and that they are not using self checkout. They typically have 2 cashiers working during the daytime. OK, still haven't stepped in this very busy, Chinese grocery store, but got to eat a birthday cake…read morepurchased from there. If one likes mangos, their mango strawberry cake is a dream. Costing under $60, the large cake was beautifully made and decorated. Like other Asian bakeries (e.g. Paris Baguette, Tous Les Jours, 85 C), the cake was chiffon with whipped cream and was quite good. But what made it stand out was how mango and strawberries were incorporated into the design AND how it tasted. Mangoes were thinly sliced and used like fondant to COVER the entire top of the cake. Then chopped mangos and whole strawberries were added on top to decorate it even more. Fondant is great to make the cake look good, but I don't like it as an edible product (it's like eating pure sugar for me). Ripe mango, on the other hand, I could eat all day...and this version was ripe without being overly so. The cake came well packaged in a travel container, and included a cake cutter, signage, and a candle. The four of us could barely make a large dent in it (maybe a 1/3), even though it didn't use buttermilk frosting, but used really good whipped cream instead. I think it's twice the size of a Tous Les Jour large (which is usually what our family gets for birthdays), and wasn't that much more.

When I asked an employee whether any vegetable bao were still available, she told me--clearly and confidently--that there were. I specifically questioned this, pointing to the "sold out" sign, yet she insisted that they were not sold out and proceeded to package four for me. When she handed me the box, I asked again--explicitly--whether these were vegetarian. For a third time, she assured me that they were. After a two-hour drive home, I opened the box to find that I had been given pork bao. This was not a minor oversight. I asked multiple times and received repeated, unequivocal assurances. At that point, this ceases to be a simple mistake and reflects either a complete disregard for accuracy or a willingness to mislead a customer to move product. Neither is acceptable. Customers rely on staff to provide correct information, especially when dietary preferences or restrictions are involved. The failure here was not just operational--it was a failure of basic honesty and accountability. This experience left me feeling violated, disrespected, and taken advantage of. It is extremely disappointing that such conduct can occur in a business that presents itself as reputable. One interaction like this is enough to severely damage trust in the store as a whole.
