Literally the best Cuban food I had while staying in Miami! So much selection for everyone in your group. The service is great, but you must practice your Spanish while here! Very delicious and authentic Cuban cuisine. The ambiance is fresh and airy, lots of seating. Very clean. Cafeteria style.

In comparison to the hand you can see how small the portion was for a $35 bill

What a huge disappointment... my daughter ordered a $35 churrasco Moros and maduros and it was horrible. The steak highly under seasoned the Moros were hard as if dry due to sitting under a lamp (this was ordered at 1pm), maduros were just ok. When she paid the $35 price on it she figured it would be the usual heaping "completa" that she had heard about. The completa that would way at least 2-3 lbs... will never attempt to order from here again.

The special that's only available if you speak Spanish. If you only speak English the cost is double.

If you don't speak Spanish don't think of coming here. They don't speak English or maybe they don't want to speak to you. I asked for the "especial de completas" advertised for 5.99 and online for 6.99 for the small portion. The server almost rolled her eyes when I ask this in English, so I resorted to pointing at items. I chose rice and beans, steam veg, Ropa Vieja and she proceeded to weigh the serving of shredded beef and I thought it was a new procedure. She pulled up a calculator and to my surprise, the total was $14 and change. I paid and proceeded to have a sit to eat my lunch and secretly watched them do a double standard to Spanish speaking customers, it's a popular dish so every time this particular dish was ordered the server always heaped on the the Ropa vieja and never weighed it. If you must try it because you saw a highlight vid from strictly dumpling or Josh, I highly recommend ordering it through their online option. As for me, I'm insulted and will never come back, I suspect they don't want us, foreigners, to come there anyways

Great selection of foods from sandwiches to fried rice. The sweet and sour style chicken was delicious tender and plentiful. The shredded beef was good almost like eating shredded jerky.

Located right outside of Westland Mall facing the parking lot next to H & M…read more Lots to look at and admire. Loved the lighting fixtures and the murals on the walls. Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! Definitely will be back

I came by their new location in Westland Mall today since I was shopping and I was hungry. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

Great place to stop for a quick bite on a beach day or when you're not feeling up for a full meal…read more Sandwiches are large and taste great! Plenty of customization options. A counter seat is hit or miss but nice to have available instead of only being a walk up window. Skip the smoothies. They're watery and thus not very filling or flavorful. You're better off getting a sandwich (again, as this was my 2nd visit) or going somewhere else for a smoothie.

Just one block away from South Beach on 14th Street, this place is a very popular fast food spot…read more Since South Beach restaurants are either expensive (20% gratuity even for a party of two) or extremely crowded, we walked one block inland and found this place. From a distance, it looks like a food truck, but it's actually a full setup designed to look that way. Even in the scorching heat, there was a line--but it moved quickly. Their menu has everything. Think of it as a Subway style setup, but with smoothies, tropical ingredients, and lots of fresh options. Now the main part...We ordered- Chicken Mix Baguette Tuna Baguette Am I the only one who found it just okay? At Subway, at least they toast the bread for a bit. Here, I genuinely struggled with the hard bread--it was tough to chew. Also, the meats were cold, which I'm not used to. I knew that beforehand, but still wanted to try this hyped spot. They have about 5-7 bar style stools for seating, but in the humidity, it's not the most comfortable experience. Freshness (smoothies & ingredients): 5/5 Overall taste & experience: 3/5 Or maybe we're just spoiled by the big fast food chains?
