I ordered the croque monsieur sandwich, and it came out in a timely manner. It was actually a lot of food and looked great. The inside was hit or miss however. It was unevenly heated and there were cold sections in the sandwich, which was kind of weird. The breakfast potatoes however were piping hot and delicious. Maybe my sandwich was a one off. the menu is large and varied so there should be something for everyone. If you're looking for a solid meal, especially before a tour, La Manufacture might just be the place!

The fondue was excellent, the best you will have in Caen, however I would reccomend bringing around 4 people to finish a single fondue dish which is quite large, even though the menu says it is for at least 2. The meat is quite average, but the pave de bœuf I ordered was undercooked, almost raw. i asked for a few more minutes; and though my server graciously agreed, I discovered that it was still somewhat raw at the center after a second try. I would suggest avoiding the meats, but by all means do not hesitate with the excellent fondue.

I ordered a steak dish and my daughter ordered a fancy cheeseburger. All of the food was amazing. The burger is crazy good ..like possibly the best one you will ever have. The only surprise we had was that a review did not already exist in yelp. If you are looking for french-lite, this place will not disappoint.
