    Queso Taco de Barbacoa

Omg disgusting. Some of the worst quality food I've ever been served. I ordered from door dash, when I brought food in my house I could immediately smell something was off. A foul smell like rotten milk was coming from the chile relleno, and the taco was filled with huge pieces of fat i was grossed out

Also the Mahi Mahi and grilled shrimp plate with rice. Absolutely delicious. And the dungeness crab. Yum! Also if you want a hammer for the crab, it's a $2 deposit. They refund you after you return it. Obviously had to get the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Absolutely worth it. All of this cost $130. Mostly cuz of the crab at 29.99/lb. Bread bowls were $16 (we ordered 2) And the plates were less than $25 each. Plenty of seating around.

Went on Sunday for a quick brunch. Ordered grilled halibut plate, wife ordered fish and scallops, topped it off with a clam chowder and two sodas. Total came out to be around 65$. Fish was just grilled with a ton of oil on the same griddle as everything else, seasoning consists of old bay and that is it. Bland, old bay seasoning. Fish and chip was bland, no flavor. Clam chowder had minimal clams and mainly thick soup base. So unless you think those YouTubers are coming there to say nice things, edit the video, and then post it so they can make content money. Don't waste your time and money.

We tok a picture of our table and then went up to order and the food was brought out to us. We only waited about 15 minutes before it got there and it was delicious Me and my hubby shared the shrimp plate it came with potatoes and it was delish! Our friends however ordered the works and it took about 40 minutes to get theirs... something about the lobster tail takes 30-40 minutes to cook:/ by the time they got it we were super done with our lunch. Our hubbia got these huge bottles of beer. It took them about another 40 minutes to finish. I had an agua de sandia from one of the carts... it was MUCH needed after a night of FUN at the concert. We ended up renting one of the bikes and rode it up and down the area. There are a lot of nice restaurants to come very soon! We need to schedule a trip to go back out to the LBC!

Thankfully the outdoor space has lots of tables and shaded seating with a view of the water. You order at the window, give them your table number, and they bring your food out to your table. Honestly, for two, I'm not sure it was worth the $120 meal for the whole fried snapper tray with shrimp, ceviche + chips, and two drinks. The shrimp and potatoes were seasoned.l, so those were my favorite. Everything else was just alright. For the price point, I'd expect a better meal.

You have to go here. I lived in calabasas and use to frequent the one there, but Long Beach King's Fish House is one of my favorites.. our server Genesis was outstanding and we were blessed to be set in her section. Big O you have to experience, energetic and kindness that he shares with the customers, and if we had more people in this world like the two of them it would be drama free. Our service was spot on perfect the hospitality here was over the top. The food was served hot tasted outstanding. Nothing to complain about. Our drinks were awesome as well. I definitely recommend you going to see them and enjoy a great meal. I had a napkin because I was so hungry. I tucked it into the neck of my shirt and I was eating messy an Andre's was awesome as well bringing me a bib . We will definitely be going back. Great food great service great ambience an must try.

Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

My family and I were heading to the Aquarium of the Pacific and wanted to find a good dinner spot…read morenearby afterward. I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.
