Chamoyada

This place is really cute and decorated really cute! I see what the owner is trying to do, more of an upscale neveria. We ordered a banana split, a chamoyada, strawberry auga Fresca, and strawberry's and cream. Our total was $34. Banana split 7/10 Ok to start we saw there was a banana split and we where super excited to get a classic split. We did two vanilla scoops and a strawberry scoop, to go with classic banana split flavors. She asked which toppings we wanted and we said the classic flavors she asked if we wanted chocolate and Carmel, then asked if we want pecans or granola. My husband asked if it came with cherrys like the classic one and we where re assured it was just like a classic banana split. Maybe there just needs to be training on a classic split because this was not a classic, she put the whip first then the pecans and granola and cherrys then covered the whole thing with the chocolate and caramel no strawberries no pinapple. I would say this is a really good bang for your buck it's a super large serving and was yummy but when we where expecting classic we where hoping it would be pinapple on one ice cream strawberry on the strawberry ice cream and chocolate and Carmel on the other vanilla ice cream. Then the granola and nuts can go on all of it, and then whip and finish with cherrys it would be more visually appealing. strawberry agua 10/10 was really really real delicious flavor! Not cheap strawberry mix you can tell it has real strawberry's and is not water down, perfect sweetness! Super delicious. Only complaint I could say is the cup only comes in one size and is about a medium it would be cool if they offered a larger size as well! strawberries and cream 6/10 good but I would say the cream taste like more of a yogurt base strawberry's and cream, good size cup for you money. The chamoyada 6/10 was ok, Large cup for your money we did a mango sorbet the mango sorbet was icy and lacks flavor until the end, it's more of a sweet artificial mango flavor then a really good creamy real mango base. We will be back!! overall 7/10 Visual 7/10 Flavors 8/10 Staff 12/10 staff was super friendly and nice!!

Crepe

I love this place! It's a locally owned ice cream shop but the real gems are the desserts! The service is amazing, always so friendly and attentive. The inside of the shop is super clean with plenty of seating. The crepes are absolutely a must try, the cream filling is so so good. I have been back multiple times for the crepe alone, one of the better crepes in the denver metro area. We also had the funnel cake fries, super yummy! I can say I'm personally a big fan :)

Great snack/dessert shop next to Tacos el Metate! Their gansito ice cream is some of the best I have tried. Everything is made fresh and they have a variety of snacks desserts and even a lot of drink and coffee options. Quickly becoming a local favorite of mine!

Abuleta hot chocolate ice latte

This place is amazing, the staff is super helpful especially if you don't know what you want! I wanted something sweet but not cold and they suggested a crepe! They cut fresh fruit in front of you!! The latte was an abulita hot chocolate latte, I've never seen other places make this!! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends!!

There are large tables for groups to come together socially or for business. They offer free Wi-Fi. The seating in the back is very private. They played relaxing and calming music that was a pleasure to listen to while drinking delicious coffee and sitting in comfort. Hannah was our barista, and she was lovely! She is a kind and friendly person who took the time to explain how to make reservations for the Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony that can be scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays. The Yirgacheffe coffee was incredible, so smooth! It is from Ethiopia--the birthplace of coffee. The food menu is vegetarian (no meat served) The noise level was perfect, indoor seating is plentiful (no outdoor seating), and parking is plentiful in the lot in front. In the restroom, the toilet was a bidet. I wish the menu were in a larger font to make it easier to read. I feel coffee shops in general need ample storage to keep supplies and clutter out of sight of customers.

Such a home-y vibe!…read more It's inside of a church! I was driving a friend from Centennial to Aurora and this place was perfectly on the way. Literally nothing much else around AT ALL. It was a SINGLE pin on my google map - no pins near it at all! I must have pinned this at some point as "a place to go to sometime when in the area" but I really can't remember pinning it and am not sure why I would pin a coffee shop located in a church! However! This is the second coffee shop that I've seen in Denver while driving by - like located as part of a massive church, so it was interesting to actually be checking it out. It was a weekday and there was a vast parking lot and there were like 4 cars. LOTS of parking! Once inside, I immediately relaxed! Didn't even know I was tense! There was so much to look at and it smelled so good inside. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Something baked tho. My eyes wandered everywhere over the various retail areas, the furniture - couches to patio furniture, the people behind the counter, the various large chalkboards, menus, etc. Lots to look at. I wound up getting a spicy chai! I never order chai! I must have been under some strange spell from being immersed in the warm comforting baked goods aroma! The spicy chai had KICK! It was so good that I ordered a second one to go! My friend ordered that ham+cheese biscuit which looked amazing, with those cheese legs dripping! Whoa! It was such a nice coffee + conversation vibe. I would totally go again if I am ever in that area again! Oh! The 2 behind the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable about their vast variety of menu and drink items!

I got the cardamom bun latte. I was expecting more spiced flavor, I didn't really get that. While I wouldn't get that same drink again, I got this donut cake pastry that was absolutely phenomenal. It was like biting into a cloud, and the bottom was dusted with a cinnamon sugar which elevated the plain cake. It had a decadent chocolate glaze that was so delicious. I wish it would have been a bit thicker but all in all it was very scrumptious. For that donut cake alone I would definitely come back.

Wake & Take opened in 2020 and was built to be more than that a café with a European feel that doubles as a true community space. And honestly, that's exactly how it comes across when you're there. The coffee is so good. Smooth, rich, and consistent every time. It's the kind of place where you stop mid-sip and go "okay yeah... this is it." And the treats? Just as strong. Everything tastes fresh, not overly sweet, and actually complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. You can tell there's real intention behind what they're serving. What really makes it stand out though is the vibe. It's warm, a little lively, and feels like a place people actually gather not just grab and go. Unless you want. Whether you're meeting someone, working, or just hanging out, it fits. This is one of those places that turns into a regular without you even realizing it. The extended hours are a plus.
